Morrigan i dislike because i believe that shes very manipulating and a B***h that would be my opinion of her if i actually met someone like her. But shes the best Companion in the game and is funny particulary one conversation with sten and the way she demolishes cry baby Alistair.

I have morrigan in my group for the only purpose of interacting dialouges w/ Alistar which are hillarious. I sort of like her she is interesting but I have two gripes with her first on how she complains if we go out of our way to do something, she dosent seem to have the brain for all the bigger picture stuff. And for what happens at the end, not going to say for obvious reasons.

She was one of the most interesting characters in the game. Although I would venture to say that all of the traveling companions were interesting in their own way. But yes, Morrigan did stand out above the rest. I guess just the "mysterious" way she had and the things she would say to the other characters while traveling. I believe also that the voice acting for her helped a great deal giving her that unique Presence.

Morrigan is one of the best BioWare created NPC's anytime. She may have some weird philosophies at times, but that is what makes her stand out from other generic characters.

Liker her? Morrigan is not only the best joinable DA npc ever. She's also not just the best BIO joinable npc ever. The girl is not even the best BIO npc ever. Morri isn't just the best never joinable by anyone ever. Simply put, Morrigan is THE BEST NPC OF ALL TIME.

Period.

shes a nice character to have in the game,
in most such games you got a bunch of good doers and a drunken dwarf,
morrigan and sten add some variety to that.

but other than that, i think shes a power-hungry, ego-maniac, unorgasmic, psycho-****.

did you here the one she has with ohgren i believe he said something about her doing certain *stuff* with male animals and changing during and that she might be a snug in disguise

anyways i love morrgan *although i pine over the keepers apprentice and anga* she tries to be manipulative and she tries to be a **** but fails at both with me dont believe a word she says that ring might as well have been an engagment ring Image IPB

I liked her, but in the end, I realized that it could not be so I've productively channeled that affection into blind hatred.

I love her! I love Claudia Black! I'm thinking threesome!

Seriously, Claudia Black did an AWESOME job with Morrigan and I am hoping we get a lot more of her voice acting in future games. She's also in Uncharted 2 I believe.

I was really into CBlack when I first started, but after I decided to spare a few dozen innocents, her sarcasm got on my nerves too much. Doesn't matter what the reward is or how you go about getting it around her- she'll get pissy if you don't slit a throat.

(Sten/Alistair/Shale FTW.)

(Also. I just realized this i'm supposed to only say nice things about her in this thread. hehe...sorry?)

I love Morrigan <3  I think initially she was never suppose to fall for the hero, because such feelings are a weakness which from my understanding she learned from Flemeth based off the dialogue from talking and the gifts. She can be a ***** most times during the game, but she pretty much tells it how it is and not sugar coat it. I always keep her in my party for everything.

I also totally dig the side conversations between Alistair and I recall one side conversation with Allistair and Morrigan  how he asked her if she really thought he was stupid lol.

I prefer Morrigan, Leliana is something of a stereotypical fantasy heroine. A bard a rogue cheery but with some sadness, but still a charming and noble outlook on life. She is a good person but also shallow.

Morrigan is different, she is socially inept, power hungry, but has a naivete to her that shows something tragic. She too is a stereotype of sorts but a deeper character to me, more interesting.

In a real situation I would be far more attracted to Morrigan and my natural instincts put me heavily on the just and fair side. This is counting that I have a penchant for redheads. There is just something there I find intriguing.

Thus far I am really liking Morrigan and her mum, such wondrous sarcasm and as others have said, she's very believable and has that adorable naivette thing going. She's very interesting and fun. Can't wait to see what else she gets up to in the game. ^_^

It's the bangs/facial structure. Toss some hair sticks up in there and the strappies on the pants probably don't help, either.

I see the comparison mcneil but Lulu was more the stereotypical emotionless mage with a deep heart. Morrigan is sort of a take of the naive isolated child with a bitter slant to it.

I never cared for Lulu, Morrigan intrigues me.

Well both Morrigan and Leliana have a lot more to them than meets the eye[cue the music]. Morrigan seems cold and heartless and I went into the romance(first one I tried) knowing full well my character would likely end up manipulated and/or have his soul sucked out. But the story didn't go that way and I was honestly quite surprised with how it turned out w/regards to the end, even if I didn't care for it. But the reason I didn't care for it wasn't so much because it wasn't what I'd expected/hoped for (knew something was coming) but because it seemed to contradict a fair bit of Morrigan's character development.

Morrigan puts on a cold facade, but you do have to wonder how much of that is due to Flemeth - try giving Morrigan the Golden Mirror you can get from a vendor in Orzammar - it only shows up after a particular conversation but in that moment you really see some of Morrigan's inner self come out - and in pretty much every conversation after that she sounds like she might begin to cry whenever she talks about her relationship with the PC - male or female.

I like Morrigan because she is not an archetype. She doesn't need salvation like so many other BioWare characters have in other games, she just needs someone to open a window and show her some things from a new vantage point. And it does amuse me how many people still go "wtf, she won't sex me up, even though I R @ 100%" - ahh, seeing the clueless never gets old

Alistair : "What'd you do if your mother dies?"

Morrigan : "Before or after I stopped laughing?"

it never gets old lol XD
