Got a question for our forumasters!

Well, first, I wanna say, the game-selling Salarian on the Citadel? I got the feeling he was kind of a shout out to those of us who work video game retail, and one store chain in particular. If so, you guys just made me feel the love most of our customers don't. :happy:

The place where I work (I'm not allowed to mention it by name, as per our rules and regulations) often gives away free items with game pre-orders. Usually, they give too much! More often than not, unused pre-order bonuses just sit there until they get thrown away.

Rather than let them collect dust, I'd like to know if I could possibly give away the codes using the forum? I might (hypothetically) be able to give away the Terminus Armor with the M490 Blackstorm Projector, since it is obvious at my (hypothetical) store that we have way more then necessary. I'd rather give the codes to a dedicated fan of the game than a random customer who won't even use them.

That said, I understand that there are certain rules that even our forumasters must adhere to, so... I'd understand if it was a no-go.

I plan to do the codes through PM, with a signup thread, on a first-come-first-serve nbasis, and it would sort of be on an honor system. I plan to ask politely that anyone who already has the Terminus armor and that neat gun not request a code, but there's no real way for me to check. ...that I am aware.

I just figured it'd be best to ask. There might be some vague copyright issue I could be violating, though I think it's kind of unlikely.

That would be awesome because I couldn't get the Terminus Armor due to pre-order conflicts with the Collector's Edition.

There seem to be a few threads where folks are giving away Dr. Pepper codes, and I don't think this would be much different.

That's one of the reasons I hope I'm allowed to give it away. A lot of people had to pre-order from Amazon (nothing wrong with Amazon, of course) toi get their Collector's edition. So. Yeah. Uh. I hope.

Don't know if it will be permitted, but ....... first come basis? can I get my bid in presumptively? Pissed me off that that store would not allow me to pre-order Collectors Edition because they ran out to bloody fast and I would LOVE a set of Terminus Armor

I'd imagine that if there was a massive problem with something like this, then everyone that has been offering to give away Dr. Pepper codes has been banned or warned or something similar. Incidentally... ; P

Awsome my bloody HDD died two days I still find the irony in that funny after getting mass effect 2 and downloading the terminius armor and weapons. this is a brilliant Idea.

If i don't remember wrong Chris said it was ok to give away codes, just not sell them So, if you do plan on giving them away, I will sign up for one

If it's allowed, I'll make a seperate thread for the giveaway a week or so from now--to give everyone time to pick up their pre-order and make SURE the ones I'm giving away are extra. I'll be giving them away then, and unfortunately not before. Sorry!

There was another thread here where someone was giving out extra codes their store had and it didnt run into any problems from the admins. Having said that, Id love a Terminus code if you have enough spare.

I don't see why not, someone was able to offer terminus for my collector armor and gave me a spent code in exchange for my working one, so I'd say you are doing one better
