My guess is no, but I also own DAO PS3 and ME2 XBOX360, I have all the PS3 DLC...

Yes it works it's tied to your EA account so play Dragon age on ps3 (or pc or xbox) and at a certain point early in Mass effect 2 (I don't want to spoil it for anyone) you will receive a message stating that the experimental armor has been delivered to your armory.
