Can't get it to run. Have done everything tried everything... It was running fine for a few days, I was playing away, then after a reboot, I run the icon as admin and it acts like it is about to sytart, and then... nothing. I have rebuilt my Windows 7 x64 installation twice. Re-installed ME2 about 11 times, still the same thing. How can a game work for a good while and then stop functioning for no reason? Dragoin Age did the EXACT same thing to me. That has not worked in months!
I have twin Corsair 256GB SSD's mounted in a RAID 0 array for a C drive. Thinking that was the problme, I installed Steam and ME2 to a conventional SATA HDD RAID 0 array (D:\\) and that did not do the trick either.
Both DAO and ME2 are Steam downloads.
System:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)
Processor: Intel® Core2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8126MB RAM
Page File: 2482MB used, 13766MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Any help would be appreciated. This is driving me nuts, and I consider myself a serious techie... I do this for a living at a VERY high level, and I can't figure this out... I bet it is something simple too!

I haven't had any problems with the game until I got to Tuchanka, it crashed while I was fighting those bug things during Grunt's loyalty quest. I tried the game again a couple of min ago and got passed the bugs, but right before I go to hit the keystone again it crashes, I'll try again in a bit, hopefully it's just this part, I'm going to turn the settings down and see if that helps.

see if you can "resume" your latest quick save or autosave - via menu - and whether it crashes on load. cause thats what happened to me - when it crashes in the middle of gameplay.

My mass effect 2 crashes continually during the archangel mission, and it does so randomly, also happened during mission with Mordin, ive tried updating my driver software, checking my system, and the game ran just perfectly the other day, i passed the game 3 times and now these problems are starting to pop up out of nowhere. Help anyone?

Sounds like either a corrupted save, or game file. Reload another save. If that doesnt work, reinstall.
