It says my gamertag is already taken how does that happen?!?!?!

i havent added it to my EA profile yet

idk if i magically already had one or somethin and didnt know because i've had my gamertag for almost 2 years.....

PLEASE somebody help me find out where my gamertag is liked to because i have no earthly idea where....

they shoulda just made this downloadable from the market place and the problem would be solved

I am trying to redeem the Terminus Armor code, and every time I try it says no response from remote server. It's not under EITHER of my EA accounts (I have one for PS3 stuff, one for 360) under Registered Game promotions. My other two ME2 downloads are registered, but the Armor/Blackstorm code refuses to register.

make a friggin patch this system is beyond broken, you need to enter the code on the dashboard!!!

I'm having similar issues. I also can not get mine to work because it also says its already in use. I agree they really need to just do dashboard next time and make this less complicated then it already is.

bioware cant do anything about linking ea account and gamertag .... if it was the social site you could complain but ea is there overlord not underling

Wow. So much bullsh** to go through. This is the first game I've come across that makes me juggle all these accounts and isn't fool proof. Why?

I've been trying to contact EA since I purchased the game-- The game itself keeps saying my key code is already in use when I put it in the redemption screen. I just bought it new from the local Fry's :/ Hopefully I'll get some help today. Otherwise, this is a fine sequel and I am thoroughly enjoying what I have played so far!

I'm sorry I forgot to mention, I am just trying to redeem the cerberus network card included with the standard edition of the game, not the collector's edition.

I got an idea for bioware. Why not just make it a free downloaded content. It will clear so many issues and will get everyone's problem solved at once.

@SmartBarley89: Sadly it's for EA to decide this issue cause BioWare belongs to them now. Look to this hole crazy DLC-system. Linking your gamertag with a ea-account. After this go to bioware and redeem your code. Seriously what are they thinking?!

I have done every step thus far but yet when I try to redeem my code on the social network it says that my GT is not linked even after I have done so on ea.com.



This is starting to get annoying. :/

I redeemed the code for both armors for Mass Effetc 2 without any problem here on the site , but cant get them on my xbox , i only see there on Cerberus the content for the merc to join our party and normandy crash site , no armors...

@tiago6000: Did you try to reboot ME2 or your xbox? It helps in some of this dlc issue.

Yes m8 i alraedy did that , similar problem happened with my dragon age for pc , and the solution i had that time was waiting some days , since there was many ppl at the same time reddeming the codes , dunno what else i must do , guess i must w8 in mass effect as well...

wow this is rooted, I apparently allready had an EA account that I could log into on there website, but it wouldn't let me log into it on the cerebus network so I had to make a new one wich is now not the one linked to this account so I can't get my dragon armour.



This is just a really really bad system.

how do I link my gamertag to ea.com? I have two accounts somehow, and neither list a gamertag option that I can see. Grrrrrrr.

Same here. I just bought the game at GameStop. I got two codes, one specifically from GameStop, the other a general Cerberus Network activation, but for both codes I get the message that they are already taken. I guess codes are hacked/ stolen? Sucks though... is there any way I can get new codes or these codes to work? I have all the proof of buying here right in front of me (for the XBOX360).
