I bought the collectors edition. All these promo codes and I find out I had an ea account I've never used liked to my gamertag, yet the account I made that I used the same email address with to log on to xboxlive isn't linked to my gamer tag... wtf. I put in all my codes. I have a crap ton of DLC to download and it won't let me. Been trying to contact EA but to no avail. Makes me not want to even play this game and tell everyone to not buy it. I mean what's the point of getting all this stuff, if customer support is non-existant?! I WANT MY DLC!!!

The card that came with the Collector's edition didn't match what was offered on the masseffect.com site. I entered teh code, and it said that it would be in my active downloads section. However, I dont know how that is possible since I never linked my EA.com account to my Xbox Live persona. I thought it would ask for my Xbox Live Account information.
Now, I can't get EA.com to accept my Xbox Live Account as a new persona, and the code isn't working anymore.
CAn someone at BIOWARE Please fix this????
Also, my Xbox Live account email address isn't the same email address I used to sign up at Ea.com with. I never ever associate website registration with the same email address as my video game accounts (PSN, WiiWare, Xbox Live)
How can i go about getting the content?

Can't get promo code at all. For just joe-shmoes that are still suck in 20th century. If you don't have an XBOX LIVE account, you will never get codes for this game. So you will have spring $50 a year to subscribe to Xbox Live B.S!
Then hook up DSL to Xbox, then take 3 or 4 hours of trying to go thru technical stuff on both PC and Xbox to try to
set up Xbox Live, hack or sign up for several sites (EA.com) on PC, then by Harry-Potter luck find a way to redeem
this codes Gamestop advertised before the game release date. EA or Bioware should just put a redeem code
prompt on main menu to put in and unlock special items access in the programing. So if you one of those 3
computer PH'd s, Spock-vulcan types that did this. I s*!^ on you !

I can safely say I am tired of this bs with EA, after spending $70 on a game, no customer should have to go through this much hassle to get content to work, I find it downright disrespectful on EAs part, I am done buying their games. The saddest part was that I expected something like this to happen with ME2. Guess I just buy games from trusted publishers from now on, Thankfully SquareEnix is breaking into the western market, so between them, Microsoft, and Activision, there will be no shortage of good games. So yeah, EA isn't the only big publisher anymore, and I thankfully don't have any reason to put up with their crap in the future.

I accidentally used the code on wrong EA account and now I cannot use it again. Any chance that the code redemption can be transfered over to the correct account?

This is wonderful, I sign into EA expecting to get my weapon and armor, and lone behold, "Account is already taken". Great, linking my XBL account for Bad Company really came back to bite me...

I managed to get my Gamertag linked through EA's customer support, although I did have to email them a couple of times to get the right help. I got my Collector Armor code working and downloaded, but can't find the content. I'm on the Xbox 360 and I can't find this message you're supposed to get. Any help?

All of my DLC works fine except my Blood Dragon Armor. I bought DA for PC and then bought ME2 for Xbox 360 and I am unable to access the Blood Dragon Armour on the Xbox 360 version. I have my Gamertag linked properly on (2) EA accounts.
I think the issue was when I purchased DA I was already signed up on the Bioware Social Network months before release and before details on how redeeming DLC would work cross platform. Since I had no idea that EA and Bioware accts would need to be linked in such a way, I signed up to the Bioware Social Network with a different email
than I was using for my EA accts.
So now my DA profile and DLC info shows up one one Social Network acct and ME2 shows up on another Social Network acct. Switching accts is successful however since I redeemed my Blood Dragon Armor code for my PC version it tells me that it has already been activated.
In summary I think if details on how DLC content were released earlier and (specifying that you need to sign up on the newly created Social Network using your EA acct details along with your gamertag instead of creating something new) I think I would have been ok. Hope that makes sense...

I changed my x-box live gamertag's e-mail today to the one linked to this and my EA account (that i used for Spore.) I did this so i could get the Collectors edition rifle and armour, as i saw the bioware notice it had to be the same e-mail as the one you used on your gamertag you desired the DLC to be awarded to.
Completed redeeming my ME2:CE, bioware social site says congrats, that i have succeded in unlocking my DLC.
Did all this THEN found out that my gamertag had to be linked to my bioware social account via my EA account (keep in mind that all three contributing accounts now bear the one single e-mail address.)
So i set about connecting my Gamertag to the ea account, as they say to.
Apparently the gamertag is alredy in use. That is not possible as i have not registered it before.
I, upon opening the game and going about playing it used my Cerberus Card to gain access to the Cerberus Network. All good there, no problems.
then i used it to get the DLC, Normandy crash site, Zaeleed, and my Dragon Age amrour recieved from a xbox360 copy of DA:Origins. No problems there.
I DID change the e-mail of my gamertag AFTER getting Cerberus Network (and the DLC, normandy, Zaeleed, DA armour.
i want my Collectors edition armour , but cannot get it because EA will not let me link my Persona of my Gamertag to my Ea account.....
This is SO complicated and not fun.
please help.

"Unable to redeem code.
That code has already been used, and cannot be redeemed again."
This is the message I got when trying to redeem my preorder armor. EA & Bioware account linked to my XBL account and everything :/

Regarding the Terminus Armour and Blackstorm gun...
I pre-ordered ME2 from Play.com......
I don't have X-Box live as i use a T-Mobile 3G wireless modem and i don't really play much on-line... Is there any way i can transfer the download file via usb stick or burning it to a cd?

It means they chose too complicated a system to try and track how much demand they would have for a game.

A couple days ago, I tried redeeming my collector's edition collector armor code, and after going through half a dozen sites, and resetting all the passwords I apparently had on them, I was able to redeem my code. But I was never able to download it. Now I tried it again, still had to reset passwords at half a dozen sites and never got my old display name back, I can't redeem my code because it already has been. What's up with this? I logged in with an EA account, one linked to my Gamertag, and I never got my armor.
This is way too complicated and aggravating. I feel cheated here.

Well I was able to create a new profile ( I AM freak2pt0 ) that is linked to my xbox livegamer tag. All my promo codes for this game. Every single one. Collectors armor, terminus armor, Dragon Age armor, Cerberus Network, all on freak2pt0 instead of this profile.... EA hasn't gotten back to me in a week and I still have no access to my DLC and all the pre-ordering and collectors edition crap is nothing now! I wish EA actually has some one you could call and talk to, or even some one to email me back... I tried to change the email thing to manipulate this crap and it still didn't work. just locked me of everything and took me forever making a 3rd email account to fix it back to the original in the first place. This is so rediculous. I want what I purchased. This is almost false advertising with no customer service. I've worked in customer service for years and never have I seen such a lack of it in a company that has so many customers....
Where are you EA??? Where are you BIOWARE?? You have gamers who want to play what you've created. Quit holding out on us!

I also had to recreate another account. I tried redeeming a code with a newly created EA account that wasn't linked to my gamer tag. That's where most of us have screwed up. Forgot your old EA account when ya made one on another game somewhere and created a new one, didn't link it, redeemed code, now your schtuff is floating out in cyber space. EA sent me a very generic response to my customer service email that told me HOW TO REDEEM when I already did, F******G morons.
To end it once and for all and to bite the proverbial bullet, I "bought" a new code and did everything correctly with my new (this) account and made sure it was linked to my gamertag. Was cheap and less of a head ache than dealing with EA's poor tech support.
I got my terminus now. No thanks to EA. EA SUCKS CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!! EA SUCKS CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!!EA SUCKS CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!!EA SUCKS CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!!EA SUCKS CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!!EA SUCKS CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!!EA SUCKS CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!!
Google that B*****S!

Same problem as November Seven.
Linked to an old profile.
Why couldn't they just give us a code directly to the marketplace?
