ok soo i landed on the citadel with both thanes and the turians quest ( i forget the turians name XD) and i did the turian quest but before i did it i talked to the c-sec offer guy right when u come in and hit investgate and there was an option to ask about thanes son, well i hit it but nothing updated in my journal so i went and did the turians quest in the warehouse of the citadel and ive been running around for hours talking to everyone i can and no one is telling me where to find thanes son, i went back to the c-sec officer and the option to ask about thanes son isnt available anymore and once again like i said earler  my journal is telling to ask him about his son but there is no option anymore to ask that question. soo what the hell happend??? did i run into a bug and could u please post any ideas on what i should try. thanx

Do you still have Thane in your squad? The dialogue option wont come up otherwise, or necessary characters to talk to later on.



If that doesn't help, maybe it is a bug. And the turian's name is Garrus - he's from the first game.

It seems you need to have Thane present to ask the C-Sec guy (meaning you need to have Thane on your squad when you're walking around).

Yeah, the same thing happened to me while I was looking for Thane's contact on the Wards but I had taken Thane out of my squad for Garrus' loyalty mission.
