:/ It's not worth it dude. You can't win against all the little children sitting at the feet of Father Bioware, waggling their fingers in the hopes of a nod of approval.

The fact of the matter is that people excuse anything these days... either that or are just simply too scared to stand up and have an opinion of their own. :(

Testify, my man.

I have a hard time taking people seriously when they don't cite specific examples, include vague insults for no reason, and are too lazy (or too much of a pirate) to register their game.

I think there are a lot of bugs too but I am not going to waste my time getting into the frame of mind to properly phrase and describe them ...

I was warned by EA for one of the posts that I made... it was actually pretty tame for a rant. I mentioned some stuff about being put in a box and tortured along with China's repute for stealing organs among other things... they own this forum... say one thing against the chinese govt and they'll get you.

these days they can depend on a bunch of cheerleader gamers to protect them from the wrath of doom...or something...

If you don't want to tell us about the bugs, there are no bugs. That is that, if you do not have the time to tell anyone about the bugs, we do not have the time to help you and Bioware does not have the time to fix them.

The only confirmed bugs are the longer load times from extended play sessions attributed to memory leaks and the Orzammar quest bug. Anything beyond that is speculation and more indicative of a personal tech support issue as opposed to something requiring attention on BioWare's end.

You don't have an opinion when you don't explain yourself and rather be rude...it is sad to see this is how it has become. I think you need to go back and try again..back to start.

Explain myself.. :o.. I certainly have a large enough vocabulary and a sufficient grasp of the structure of English to be capable of doing so.... however, what you are after is justification, of myself and my views,  to one of the aforementioned children... namely yourself... and that, I am 'unwilling' (do you see the difference?) to do.

Regardless of the original tone of this post and the replies herein.. you have added nothing to this discourse, but an echo of the moderator... and far from settling matters down, have taken it upon yourself to confront any and all repliers that you do not personally agree with... all in the name of some unfalthomable belief that you are in the right....

So in the interests of getting this thread back on track, which is in the vein of a complaint about Bioware's inactivity.... could I kindly, or at least as kindly as I am able, ask you to put the keyboard down and step away from the thread.

If you try to play both sides you can end up getting "stuck" at a point where neither side of the quest will progress, effectively ending your ame unless you have an old save.

I agree completely with all of Wrath of Doom's comments in this thread thus far.

I believe that the ever elongating loadtime bug is immersion breaking, however, and is thus justification for the venting of the OP.

When you try to play both sides you get stuck. Neither of the Dwarven king candidates' representatives will talk to you and you can't complete the quest. Can't reveal anymore without spoilers.

Ohh I've done that, thank goodness that hasn't happen to me. But of course, implies the save, save, save...lol

If you are unwilling to name any problems and bugs, there are none in my opinion. If you cannot do this for yourself, there is no point in anyone including Bioware to help you if you cannot help yourself.

another mod on a power trip

Seriously?

Seriously.

You are just asking for the "Please ban me" aren't you???

What have I done to ask for a ban?

He's done nothing to ask for a ban.

Wrath, I'm just curious how you tihnk I'm on a 'power trip' by reminding the OP there are rules for posting here.

Fumble: certainly there are bugs. There are in any game. What I meant was to provide some input into the particular ones you're experiencing, as you may have found something no one else has reported. Conversely, what you may be experiencing as a bug could possibly have a solution. The only serious game-breaker I'm aware of is the Orzammar thing that Wrath pointed out. There's also the possible memory leak as well, but it's not game breaking. Annoying, most certainly.

Everyone else: keep the facepalms out of the threads. If you've nothing constructive to add to the discussion, then please refrain from posting spam.

if you won't list the bugs, how should anyone know? we only know of a handful. there's the load times, the orzammar quest bug, the occasional glitch of wielding the incorrect melee weapon when switching weapon types, the dex bug(isn't it fixed on pc and soon to be on xb360 when the update comes through?), and dlc related stuff. not exactly a massive amount of bugs. you want bug ridden, try temple of elemental evil.

You know what the true mark of a master of a language is... being able to make a point to the point.

Jus' throwing that out there... Posted Image

As for the topic at hand, I have to say I'm a lot more eager for Ostagar than a patch. If there are any bugs they seem to have bypassed me or been insignificant enough not to notice. Still, here's to a patch if there are still lingering problems; I know how frustrating they can be.

This, really.

The only 'game breaking' bugs I can think of are the Orz thing, which is avoidable and the Shale dialogue loop bug, which is rare (apparently caused by some sort of DLC shenanigans) and fixable.  Ther are other, minor bugs of course, which i don't really see why anyone would get worked up over (some funky animation glitchs and the like).  Most of the things people call bus turn out t be machine specific, mod-induced or people just not understanding how the game works.

Most moderators get a little too geeked with their mod powers and use the banhammer too liberally. His post was whiny and childish but threatening him with the banhammer was out of line.

Perhaps. But I felt the tone of the post deserved the warning. Not only was it sarcastic, but it was insulting (and in very poor taste) to the devs as well. The rules of conduct clearly state that's not allowed. But this is off topic. If you want to continue the discussion, feel free to PM me.

I belive there is also a Shale bug that was introduced in patch that prevented talking to Shale.

Perhaps the OP needs a multiple choice list of problems to pick, as it appears he is incapable of articulating specific complaints.

The status update indicates that the patch has been submitted to Microsoft for their testing.

Sarcasm on:

Oh, I have one more complaint.  DAO causes the gas pedal on my car to stick.  When will Bioware issue the recall for this horrible safety problem?

Sarcasm off.
