I tried an idea out and it worked really good.  Maybe this was shown already but I can't seem to locate the search function in the forums so I figured I'd post it up.

Basically you wanna stay away from the lair and behind the rocks.  You'll also go out of battle reviving anbody who dies and it also creates kind of a bottleneck to easily pick off the spiders.


IMO, it's kinda cheesy.  I was working on a way to win using shapeshifting and this was kind of a break to just play through.  I'm gonna redo the battle and will  win using shapeshifting. :happy:

Yeah, I've heard of this before. Maybe I should redo my video and at least show how this is possible to do instead of just mentioning it.

Did you watch my video?  I didn't go all the way around to the back, but it worked just fine.

I did it.

As soon as I left the forums and tried teh battle again, I beat the Spider Queen and pretty much stayed in Spider form the entire time and Morrigan was in Bear until she died.  It was a 7 1/2 minute fight.

I'm gonna post the video and some info in shapeshifting thread.  It was a fun battle.

Yeah, I watched it. I would have expected to have to run further away from the way it had been described to me. Looking forward to seeing the shapeshifting version.

It's up in the shapeshifting thread.  I re-watched your vid before doing it the last time.  I pretty much stayed together like suggested.  Keeping spread out can help split the spiders, but like you mentioned they tend to overwhelm one guy if you do that.
