New DLC will probably involve a few different things.



- New weapons/armor

- New options for character costumes

- New vehicles (Hammerhead)

- Small missions

- New companions (Maybe only one more though? The Normandy is running out of room.)

- Expansion size content that will act as a lead up to the release of ME3, so players can get an idea of what has been happening between the end of ME2 and the beginning of ME3.

I would really like to hear a date, if nothing else. If i was to get my wish, we'd have DLC now, but alas, that isn't really realistic, (however awesome it would be.) the already announced stuff would be awesome, as would more interaction with Ashley/Liara/Wrex. I have to agree with oldman91 on getting some decent closure, at least to hold us all over until ME3.



And more Cerberus/Specter missions would be nice.



A shooting range for the Normandy? there is still 2 unaccessible areas on the Normandy SR2, counting the main cargo bay.

I had heard rumors of a Liara DLC. There are also, as someone said, two spaces left on the Normandy. One will likely be Kasumi, as that is pretty solid. Two...maybe Liara hops on your ship late in the game as a transition to ME 3? Or perhaps the Hammerhead makes more sense.
 
I think we will get a taste of what is to come for ME 3 in a larger DLC, probably one that will come out close to ME 3's release.  I am crossing my fingers that they have secretly been working on it so it can come out sooner rather than later.

There are tons and tons of galaxies on the map once entered and you fly around you get blips confirming a planet but nothing is there. Presumed to be place holders for new missions and N7 side quest most likely.

Also, there are two spaces left on the Normandy? I only see one and thats the Port Observation Deck, oppsite of were Samara meditates

I want a DLC where you return to Akuze for my Sole Survivor Shepard. And the topic of Akuze should have been brought up more during the convos with the illusive man

Like Shepard Origins? Colonist goes to Mindoir and Earthborn goes to the slums.
