What amazes me is that there is people that keep denying the returning companion is Oghren (even when it was obvious since the first trailer).



The shield that "the warden" was wearing was pretty cool, but I hope for new armors too...

what amazes me is how bioware tells us we get one companion to return, but then word it totally ambiguous on the german preview page. but, hell, i don't care until i can see for myself

Didn't a dev even say it wasn't Oghren?

And for those who are complaining about spoilers, what's being spoiled here? The spectral dragon was shown in the premiere trailer and it's obvious that it was going to be a boss fight. Were you guys not expecting a boss fight or something?

I'm just sick of belligerent drunk dwarves. Obsidian made the type walk about as far as it could go with Khelgar; after him, and Korgan, and Oghren's first appearance, I don't see why we need any more.

In every single one of his epiloges he sobers up, so he won't be a sodding drunk anymore.

Yeah, I know Oghren's small but devoted fanbase will be happy. And at least some of the other companions and characters should be getting cameo parts - since that's my consolation prize, this post shall be my only grumble on the subject.

david stated somewhere some would make a appearance (can't find it with the search function gone MIA and not gonna botter digging through a dozen of pages) while others wouldn't

Oghren is pretty cool of a character probably the only dwarf I liked in origins still for my characters sake they better let me have my leliana.....

I liked Oghren, he was probably my third favourite companion and he was a hundred times funnier than Alistair for sure, but I would much rather have Morrigan or Leliana in the game!

I think the guy who posted was some one from greywardens.com ... just saying plus there wasn't any real spoiler in it then what has been in any other awakeing trailer.

Definitely Oghren. Not that I'm surprised.........just disappointed. Didn't he place in like the bottom 3 in that poll of favorite characters? I realize not EVERYONE who bought the game took the poll but.......seriously? Favorite? Maybe they should have set up that community feedback project they're doing a little sooner.

Well, looks alright from what little is there. I agree with what someone else said in that the dwarf does not look like Oghren. Also, was it just me or did the music at the very end of the trailer sound just like a piece that you hear when playing Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth?

Some say it's Oghren. But I honestly cannot recognize Oghren's voice there.

It's clear to me that its neither Shale nor Oghren. I would also expect the Architect to have a more sinister voice. It's just not fitting if you were to have the darkspawn with that voice.



My guess, it's probably of the new companions who is involved with the Marsh in one way or another.

As i say in another trhead I believe that clip may also be NOT a part of your history... Do you remember some trailers of DAO showing Ostagar's Battle ?????
What did you learn of your story in DAO by that trailer? Nothing !! Maybe this trailer is the same thing.. And that It shows only a clip of something which doesn't happen to you and your party !!
