This is the message I receieve when I try to play mass effect 2 on a different xbox console.  I still have my old harddrive with all the information (saves, DLC). Right now xboxlive isn't availble since I don't have a connection in this place.  Is the problem the lack of xbox live or the xbox console being different.

The problem is that the console is different. Any DLC that you download can only be used on the console you originally downloaded it on when there is not internet connection. The hard drive is irrelevant. It's tied to the hardware on your console. However there is the option to transfer your license to another xbox if you wish on xboxlive.com. Once you do the transfer then you can re download onto the new xbox that will be your primary one and it will work offline. I know it sucks you don't have to tell me!

ok..then since it was already downloaded and deleted because it says it was missing. Will it still work if you download it again with the console you want it on?

Alright!..got it working. I had to delete all the mass effect 2 DLC then re-download it all again with my own console not just the hdd. once it was downloaded I restarted my xbox, loaded up my game file and everything was good to go. My file was doing the same asTreySkillz. I did not have to redeem any codes again or pay for anything, just download the DLC again....Works perfect! hope others get thier games going.
