I've been trying to post this in answer to questions by 360 owners on the Character Creater DL page (http://blog.bioware....k/#comment-1870), but the mod's for that page don't seem to be doing their job by approving posts, as the last on is dated back on the 29th of October. I am posting it here in the hope that someone will find it useful.

GETTING THE LUCKY STONE ON THE XBOX 360 - YES YOU CAN!!!!

@ Everyone asking about being able to get the Lucky Stone ring on the Xbox 360 =>

This is how it's done:

1. Download the Character Creator from "http://blog.bioware.com/2009/10/13/character-creator-and-the-bioware-social-network/"

2. Create a random character. (Just slap something together, as you CANNOT transfer the Character to your 360.)

3. On the final page of the creation screen (The overview with the portrait on top, and the DONE button on the bottom, it also says REVIEW in the top right corner.), make sure you are signed in to the BioWare servers by clicking the Log-In button on the lower left. (If you have not already, create a BioWare account that uses THE SAME EMAIL AS THE XBOX LIVE ACCOUNT YOU WILL BE PLAYING THE GAME WITH.)

NOTE* You can double check that you are logged in correctly by clicking the "Online Profile" button. This will take you to the BioWare site and may say "Profile Not Found - The requested player does not have any Dragon Age data uploaded. " <- This last statement is irrelevant. Don't worry about it if it says this, as it will not stop you from getting the ring.

4. SAVE the character you just created.

5. On the final page of the creation screen (THE REVIEW SCREEN), click "Upload Info".

6. Once the upload is finished, close the Character Creation program. (It won't tell you that it's done, just wait for the notice over your character to disappear.

7. Turn on your XBOX 360 and login to the Live account with the same email you used for the BioWare website.

8. On the Dragon Age main screen, select "Options". Got to "Account/ Storage" and make sure that "Upload gameplay feedback" and "Upload Character profile" are BOTH CHECKED.

NOTE* FOR THIS TO WORK, YOU MUST HAVE STEP 8 DONE. YOU MAY CHANGE IT TO OFF ONCE YOU HAVE THE RING.

9. On the Dragon Age main screen, login in to the Dragon Age Servers.

10. Once you are logged in, on the main screen of the game, select "Downloadable Content" and you should see "The Lucky Stone" now displaying in the menu with a "Purchased" label on it.

11. Select the addon and DOWNLOAD IT.

12. ALL DONE! You now have the Lucky Stone on your 360!

NOTE* YES, the RING WILL SHOW UP in your older save games! Just load the game and check your inventory! ;-)

========================================

The only reason I took the time to type all this BS out is because I came here looking for the same answer and figured it out for myself after reading that the addon was available on all platforms on the DAO site (http://dragonage.bioware.com/addon/), but felt the 360 owners pain at not having an answer.

I will not respond to replies to this post, as I only created this account for the above reason. I do not use the email account attached to this account either, so please don't email me questions or post them here.

If it doesn't work immediately, give it 10-15 minutes after uploading the info from the CC program and check it again.

If you REALLY need help getting this on your 360, send me a message on the XBOX. My Gamertag is IIII6IIII (<- Those are capital I's) but I can't guarantee WHEN or IF I will answer as I am not online much.

It boils down to the fact that if I figured it out on my own, you can too, and even more easily with these instructions to aid you.

Do all the other 360 owners a favor like I just did for you and copy/paste this little post on other game forums to help others out, or at least post a link sending them here.

Good luck everyone and GOOD GAMING!

Great job, and as an FYI to PS3 users, this will work for you as well.

You can also get the rewards from the flash game this way as well.

Only one problem... my laptop doesn't have the graphics card to power the character creator.

I've uploaded my XBOX 360 character to the forums and his stats are updating here... everything looks good.  But I still don't see the Ring in my DLC.  All of my CE items and Journeys items are there, just not the forum ring.

Anyone seen a fix for this one?

I got the stone, but it just appeared in my inventory, it didn't show up as a download in my main menu. Now when I am not hooked up to xbox live, I can't load my game cause the ring is not saved to the hard drive.

I just checked that and its true.

You have to use Xbox live to get your savegame running again.

God bless the queen but our internet access and provider at most :)

There has to be a way to get the Ring saved to the hard drive like all the other DLC. I am gonna try what the post says to do above.

I do not see an upload info button on the character creator. Just a save, done, previous. Am I doing something wrong? I've made sure I'm logged and have made a good 30 different characters.

There was confusion about this? I've been using the Lucky Stone since day one.

And yes, I do mean on my Xbox 360 game.
