Anyone Worked out how to force the best texture quality yet?
Running into the same problem I had with mass effect 1 until I tweaked the .ini to max the texture quality.

Nobody knows yet, I don't think. The .ini files in 2 are much more confusing and risky to edit for some reason.

Guess I put up with low resolution textures till somebody works out why we should be playing with the highest resolution textures possible but are yet again playing with low resolution textures...
I thought they would have fixed this problem from mass effect 1 but damn me having it back.

I know what you mean. I like to put stress on my computer with high-detail and good settings instead of hit-or-miss optimization.

I, too, would love to see this sorted. It actually seems like certain textures look really great while others look as if they're made with crayons at times, a bit of a downer.
