Found this while browsing Steam forum so cudo to them for leading us to a fix.

A hotfix so you may enable AA for ME2 (ati cards):

It has been working well for me today. I'm using two 5870s in crossfire and with 16x Multi-Sample AA (at 1920x1080 and everything else turned all the way up) and getting frame rates at the vsync level of 60 fps the majority of the time. Occasionally it'll drop down to 40. I thought the game looked pretty okay before... now it looks even better. I started out with the 16x Super-sample AA which obviously looked the best, but it stressed the cards out a little too much and at certain points the frame rates would dip too much for my liking. Sure looked amazing when it would run at 60 fps, though.

nice but you are still forced to enable it within ATI-CC :)

or did they actually add a ME2 AA profile?

I think this is only a patch for Crossfire. On my 5870 (non-crossfire), I still have to rename the .exe file to ut3.exe for AA to work.

How is this supposed to work? I dont get an AA option in either the ingame video menu nor the launcher configuration menu.

Ati's drivers can be a pain in the behind to install at times...

Im downloading this now, do I go through the catalyst control system and deactivate the "application decides" (or similar) option from the AA menu, and apply my own settings?

Deactivate "Use application settings", change them to whatever you like, and then rename the MassEffect2.exe to UT3.exe.
