In case it doesn't get said more often, and lest I be thought of as someone who only whines, I must say hats off and bravo to everyone involved with the Tali/Migrant Fleet mission.

Amazing voice acting, great look at one of the most interesting cultures in the lore, new insight into Tali as a character (she wants you to cover it up!) and her background, and of course a well paced/measured run in with our old enemies the Geth - then you throw in a bit of Law and Order to boot!

I absolutely loved this side quest.

This is truth, honestly all the side missions were done well but this one stood out and seems like it shouldn't be skipped by anyone.

I will never skip this quest in any subsequent playthroughs, and might I add that this adds credibility to the idea that Dragon Age would have been better with a main character voice actor.

Tali's Trial is basically the same as the Landmeet moment in DA:O.

Which is kinda funny cuz you got Simon Templeman there as well...makes me wonder if he did the voices all in one day because the personalities between the two characters are so alike...

I'm tempted to bring my racistShep on this mission just to screw people over, but then I decided/remembered that he hates Tali so much he doesn't even want to talk to her. Ha! MainShep and FemShep will help out in different ways tho :)

my least favorite loyalty mission though was jacobs. while it was interesting, i just didnt really like it that much. tali's was my favorite though. namely just for the sheer fact that i got to see the migrant fleet at long last, even for as little as what was actually seen of it. im sure the quarians/migrant fleet will have a much bigger roll in the third installment.

I did what Tali wanted but a later e-mail from the Loghain quarian tells me I should have given him the research.

The crazy Admiral said she found the data and was gonna use it to control the geth one day...THANE! You have a mission!

You can but apparently you should be prepared to potentially lose some crew members - since you recruit Legion, you have a limited time to do stuff before the Normandy gets hit - and then apparently the longer you wait, the more crew you lose.

this.  when i get the message on my private terminal that they found "evidence" of what transpired, i was a little torqued.  shame i couldnt tell tali about it and get a reaction from her with regards to the situation.

Yeah I thought Admiral Loghain would be the crazy one (pretending to be nice and shizznit) but that Xen lady is off her rocker. She doesn't want to make peace with the Geth, she doesn't want to destroy the Geth.

She wants to control the Geth like the Quarians of yore did. Which IMO is the craziest out of all opinions.

But yeah...I want to bring Legion now...

Nah, that e-mail was from Morrigan.

Really? When I talked to Loghain he was the one that really pressed for the info, even though I hadn't submitted it in trial. The e-mail said that if I had given it to him he would have shared the technology with humans.

If it was the Morrigan quarian who wrote the message then that doesn't make as much sense to me.

This mission kindof gotme misty eyed when she found her father. Luckily my Shep was a total nice guy and comforted her in her time of need.

I just did Tali's quest! Oh man! The Flotilla! That one admiral that was a complete ass.....

But poor Tali! She's not the tech loving quirky girl from ME1... especially when she found her father's body....

That was a true emotionally engaging moment for me... luckily my Femshep comforted her and defended her father's name.

Oh- I used charm option at the trial- Shepard's trial speech kicked more ass than the original Normandy pep one!

I completely agree OP, when you finally get to the end of the ship full of geth, her reaction and the paragon interrupt.. haven't gotten this choked up in a video game since Aeris =(

Also, the vid recording of the woman locked in the room, I got pretty choked up there as well.

All around fantastic job, ME2 team.

ya, there was a few moments doing tali's loyalty quest where i got a little choked up. the biggest one was when she happened across her fathers corpse and the vid-log that he left for her. fortunately, shep was there to offer a shoulder to cry on! also, the vid-message on the laptop with the female quarian dying from a geth attack as she said goodbye to her kid made me teary eyed.
