Ya, I'd predict holiday 2011 - 18 months is a tight but doable timeline for a sequel on well established tech. They probably already have the team formed and preproduction/concepts/planning started if not completed.

No sooner than holiday 2011, though if I were to guess I'd say 2012 sometime. The good docs did say they were looking at a quicker turnaround for ME3 though.
