The entire final mission. I was fearing I would lose someone the entire time, trying to get to the core, and finally coming across the unfinished reaper. Wow.
Also, does anybody else wonder why the reapers would fell it necessary to wipe out a species of space cuttlefish? i mean if they take on the form of those used to make them, the victims from the time Sovereign was built actually were sentient cuttlefish. Curious.
The Cuttlefish were the first species to be mechanized imo. There's too many CuttleReapers to explain it any other way. Probably the same species as the Leviathan of Dis (if that isn't purely a Farscape easter egg).
THIS. I was on the edge of my char when sut scenes would go. I GOT THE ACHIEVE! And when you learn the true history of the protheans.

The first time you see the SR2 is one that really stands out to me. I got these massive goosebumps and I just stared at the TV.

When you go through the Omega 4 Relay was also very cool to watch. I was sure someone on my squad was going to die there, but I guess I made the right calls with my upgrades.

Yeah, I was pretty down when Thane died. Also, Miranda almost falling off that ledge was tough to watch. I was like "NO!".
I laughed at this scene, not because it didn't move me, but it was Grunt who was falling while my Shepard rushed to rescue him. It was hilarious to see him lift up a Krogan with one hand xD

He is technically a cyborg now. It wouldn't be a ridiculous sight.
I was so scared when Garrus clutched his side like he got hit by a bullet, twas only a scratch though.

When you learn the Collectors are altered protheans. Suddenly that mission from ME1 where you find the gold sphere and have a vision of a prothean ship testing pre-civilization humans on earth becomes a lot more important, and you start to understand why the Collectors are after humans.
Were the protheans doing tests during that point really protheans or were they collectors? Also, cause of the similarity of collectors to tradiation UFO 'little grey men' - brought the whole mythos home to a more X-files place. The notion that the collectors have had their eye on humanity for a long time.

man oh man, i just finished this part and i'm right there with you. this has to be the best mission yet. the atmosphere was wonderful. i felt like anything could happen. the 3 bombshells blew me away too. i was wondering what that n7 mission vision had to do with things. learning where the ship had been and who was really on it was interesting, and a very nice twist. it really personalized the story. also the explaination for the scar on that one planet from me1 being explained was nice too.
