Yeah, so when I click "Play Game" or whatever, there's this little window (has minimize, maximize, close) that just sits on the task bard until I bring it up. It turns out that maximize is unclickable and when I close the window, it says that it has encountered an error and needs to close.

Sorry about the over use of pronouns.

Anywho, I'm gonna try a fresh install, though I doubt it'll do anything.
Specs are:
AMD Athalon dual core 6000+
Nvidia GTX 275
3.0 gigs of ram
50ish gigs free
Vista 32bit
Everything should be up to date driver wise.

Anyone else had this problem? I've been waiting for this for the past month, please don't make me wait anymore :(

Well, thanks if you help!

(edit) Maybe DirectX 10.1? maybe realtek? I've heard realtek's had problems with ME2...

Oh, also, it's collectors edition, so disk, not download.

MORE THINGS I'VE LEARNED: From the looks of things I'm missing 4 files, I've got 4569, and it sounds like I should have 4573. Sooo I'm gonna try another reinstall.

If someone could pull a c-c-c-c-combo breaker with info of how to fix, that'd be nice!

Lots of people have this, and no one knows. BioWare has yet to reply to any thread about it. :(
