Well about to reload again because I am trying to do the interrogation with the Paragon inters. but all I get for good and bad cop runs are renagades. Anyone know if this is a minor bug or something worse.

Don't do any interruptions. Just pick Paragon convo options.

Real funny.... Dont know if I should take you seriously or call you a smart ass for that answer. Been through this twice. Guide says there are PI's in the convo and all I see are RI's

I thought it odd that when I told Thane "You be the bad cop", implying I was to be the good cop, the only dialogue persuade options I got were renegade options.

I am getting Paragon options all the time. Still not getting any PI's popping up. Just the RIs

This is one case where the charm/paragon options simply don't work. You can still go with them and get the info you need since at the end you just say you're a Spectre so he has to give up the info whether he wants to or not.

I saved and did this twice, with good cop and bad cop, no PIs in either one. Thane's behavior was the same as well... This seems like a glitch to me since the guide says there are PIs.

My game on PC is not letting me complete Thane's loyalty mission. I track the target and then it does a cut scene where Kolyat kills him and then he's gone?

This happened to me too. Wait 5-10 seconds before updating Thane when he asks (bar ~2/3 full), and see if that helps you too. We just click too quickly!

I always let the first two renegade ones pass by and then use the third renegade interrupt because I love what Shep says to him.

stop reloading...there are no PI's...just because an interrupt shows does NOT MEAN there is a coinciding one for the other alignment....in essence just because you're getting renegade interrupts doesn't mean there are Paragon ones...in fact there isn't..
to stick to Paragon path you pick the pretty blue options....simple huh

Ok, I am playing the PC version, I have been thru this quest twice. I follow the krogan & politician from the catwalk up until they stop to talk to 2 other krogans. Thane says he can't get into position & tells me to meet him at the apartments, cut scene, Thane's son does the bang bang & Thane gets all depressed. What's the scoop on saving the politician & krogran from being killed by Thane's son & reuniting Thane with his son? Thanks for any help

You follow the polititian until he stops to wait for his krogan to shake down an establishment then wander off past the club. I watched on youtube after failing 3 times. If you keep following the polititian you lose him at the club and thane can't move fast enough. If you head him off you show up to slow down kolyat. The krogan still gets shot but hey... hes a krogan
