So from the start I thought it was weird that Shep had his helmet on while in non combat situations. Then he still had it on while he was at a bar... and it was still on when he had a drink.. I even saw him kiss someone through his creeper collector helmet.. Armor can't be a one piece, a man needs to take his hat off every once and a while.
helmets..

Agreed. Many others have complained about this already; I'm not sure if BioWare has come out about it yet. I don't mind having my helmet on when I'm fighting or running around, but it should be removed in conversations like in Dragon Age...

I agree that the helmet should be off when you are in a pressurized area. Unless they fight geth again inside the Citadel, the helmet should be off.

yeah bad move on BioWares part. I don't use any of the bonus armors because it looks ridiculous taking a shot through a helmet. Seems that being able to take the helmet off should be common sense.

Agreed. All the hassle on release day to get the bonus armors working and then I get into the game and see that you have to keep your lame hat on the whole time. Not cool. I haven't even taken off the N7 armor.
Hate to be all whiny, but between this and the myriad other nitpicky problems (and major problems i.e. freaking corrupted disc that won't let me play after getting 10 hours in) this is the first time that I've ever been let down by a BioWare game and I've been playing their stuff since BG1

I think what they did during the first game worked just fine. Of course, the menu has changed since then, but like many have said, while a lot of the helmets DO look raw, I don't wanna keep mine on 24/7...
and dontcha feel a lil out of place being the only one wearing a helmet when no one else is? Anybody? Anybody? ...Chyeah, me too.

I definetly would like to see an option to make helmets invisible turning coversations atleast. Im fairly annoyed at losing out on helmet bonuses just because i actually want to see my character talk during a conversation.

That special armor is good for the very beginning but less useful once you start to buy armor related items. There is no way (that I know of) to attach those improvements to the special armor. Therefore I stop using it and went back the classic N7 armor so I can use my improvements.

Totally agree! Should have made it like in Dragon Age so the helmet is removed during cut scenes. I just removed my helmet all together. Not worth it.

The N7 is better once you mod it up, no real need for the bonus stuff, and yes it would be nice to take the helmet off.
