In ME1, she walked like a female. ME2, she walks like maleshep should but it makes her look like she is drunk and constipated.

Is there anyway that in the future, Femshep could be modded so she is less "hulk" manly? It really breaks you away from the immersiveness.

I second this. In ME, her walk was really good. The difference in the second game is jarring.

You could always roleplay her as a constipated drunk.

Haha, I first noticed it right after getting a drink from a bar.. and was like.. wow you can really get drunk in this game!
But alas.. seems like budget ran out to give femshep some motion capturing. :crying:

Makes you wonder why did you bother to play ME1 in the first place since amount of RPG is the same as ME2.

I know! That just looked so wrong :( BioWare, where's the attention to detail in the little things?

Okay... I seriously didn't notice this. Frankly, I think it's much nicer playing FemShep in this game than the first - I love all the little details in the armour (Blood Dragon armour is particularly awesome) and also how the hologram by the locker has a female silhouette.

too bad I liked the walk in the first for femShep...

But I think DA:O has this too in some cases, especially in some cut scenes. I remember a cutscene where Morrigan came walking like a Liverpool hooligan :)

well, the walk on PC does look like Shep is limp or something.

Glad it looks much better on console

femshep is a soldier. she should walk like a soldier. there is a women at my office that is an ex-marine. she doesnt walk anything like a "woman-walk." training does that to you. maneuvering, positioning, stance, it's all in the foot work. once you've done it your manner of walking changes.

also, she runs around in combat boots, not high heels.

Aye! Noticed the same thing when I was in the army. Hence a good point.

That irritated me as well.

Have you played as femshep and make her walk holding down the control button? Her animation is the same as the maleshep, and it doesn't look like they fit that animation on her body properly. As in, they didn't bother with the smaller femshep details like they did in the first game.  It's not a matter of where Shep comes from, it's a matter of animation issues. It literally looks odd, and stupid and it makes me angry like hulk.

it's still ten time better than female movement in DAO.

:) It was a misunderstanding. In any case, I am not... usually one to voice my nitpicks but... this feels unfair.

edit: Again, the animation in DA was because they stuck the same animation onto the females and they didn't fit it properly.

I agree Lucy. I was just thinking about that yesterday. In DA:O women walk like line backers same as in this game. T_T

I miss my old dance so much! She really got down with the program in the first game. Kaiden danced like somebody's father but that's cool.

She had a sexy 60s gogo dancer thing going on in ME1. I am sure there would be a way to change her dance (whether or not it would have to change maleshep is a chance im willing to take) but it might be tricky to unlock the animation file and swap it around.
