Did anyone else notice how strangely Shepard moves in gameplay now? It's particularly noticeable when walking, yet I haven't noticed this same awkwardness on any of the other characters.
Is it just an odd animation, or do you think his weird walk was on-purpose, as in Shepard now has a limp because of what happened to him and the Lazarous project being cut short by the attack?

It just one of those weird animations that happen. I've noticed that whenever I talk to someone on the ship and then jog away, shepard's head is still sorta looking in the direction of the character. Its rather funny looking.

I felt that it's because he's been dead for quite a few years and was woken up before he fully healed.

Yeah, Pocketgb, that's what I was getting at. His walk is very obviously not normal, and it can't just be bad animation, because the way he favors one leg and side of the body before the other couldn't be accidental. It looks like the developers purposefully gave him a limp. I just wonder why this isn't mentioned by any of the characters at any point that I've seen so far.

Yeah the way her head looks to the side when walking creeps me out.

He runs like a gorilla on the Normandy. I assume it is because he hasn't walked in 2 years.

Back to topic: I am actually more than a little irritated by Shepard's head favoring his right side when walking - it looks like a glitch to me and is damaging to suspension of disbelief. On the other hand, when standing around, Shepard often moves his right shoulder as if to relax it - maybe there's some intention to this after all. It would be great if someone "in the know" could clarify.

on console Shepard don't limp while walking.Shame, 'cus i also want to believe, that his limp on PC is not some glitch, but the "repercussions" . Maybe it's left from Sovereign's crash - he was holding his side back then

Actually, Evercrow, it is the console version that I'm talking about, so yes, her does in fact limp in it too.
Even if it isn't intentional (how could it not be though, the camera even has a limp-like effect going on, whenever he steps onto his right foot, the camera kind of flinches just as shepard does), then just pretend it is, there are good reasons that he would have a limp after all.

strange, maybe i just push the stick too gently) But I assure you, it definitely looks better then on PC.
For prologue, this limp is a must, 'cus there he isn't completely healed - he was even holding his right side again. Maybe it's just his liver though
My Shepard drinks alot

I think Shepard was born with deformed legs, which would cause the limp(i haven't noticed it yet) and explain why he cant jump in ME1 & 2.
