On the flip side I was able to ease tensions between Legion and Tali, which I would have figured would be the most difficult thing to talk down.

ya, i was a little disappointed at how easy it was to settle the arguement between tali and legion. id have thought the two would be tearing each other up.
but, you have to admit, jokers comment regarding the jack/miranda fight was pretty funny, "make sure to take pictures!"

Just the opposite was for me. For the Legion and Tali fight I had atleast 3/4 or more renegade and STILL couldn't use the renegade option to difuse the fight.

So do I need full Paragon to smooth things over? I keep hearing that, but I've also heard that some folks have resolved that conflict with a lower Paragon score.
Maybe you need a combination of both?

Is this a bug i have max renegade the first time i did legions loyalty mission i saved the geth which dropped my renegade i restarted killed them and with max renegade i was unable to select the renegade option. I seem to still have everyone loyalty but it REALLY bothers me i'm unable to see the renegade story option when i have it maxed. To hear that you only need a small amount of paragon makes me think someone made a mistake.

Do you have the +renegade or +paragon class skill specialisation? That
makes persuasion easier. Maybe there's a charm/intimidate option that's
so difficult to get, you can't choose it unless you not only have a
full paragon/renegade bar, but you also have your class skill bonus.

thats just how it worked out for me anyway
but if you have to choose who to side with i think you should go for jack because you can talk to miranda and sort it out with a paragon or renegade choice but if you choose mirandas side then you can never talk to jack without her telling you to.. go away..

I did the loyalty quest with Jack and apparently just pissed her off during the argument she has with Miranda afterwards since i didn't have an option to stop it. Now everytime i talk to her I have 3 options 2 are faded out because I didnt have my Paragon or Renegade high enough and the other is to just leave her which i have to pick. So can i just get my renegae/paragon up and talk to her again or is she just gonna be pissed forever lol
You need to moveB) on

I believe you also need ranks 1-4 bought on your character's powers sheet.Leithiane wrote...
I cant resolve this bad fsction with jsck snd I have 100% paragon. I see the options greyed out.

I was just a tiny notch from 100% when I got the J/M argument and it still wouldn't let me calm it down.

I'd like to know this too. My first playthrough I got through fine- everyone loyal, solved the fight at 80% paragon. I just did another one, and I had about 85% paragon, 15-20% renegade by the time their fight broke out, and I can't persuade them, even with maxed class (soldier). It makes me think that the choices are based on the net sum of the two, but that doesn't really make sense.
