Feel free to ask about any aspect of the toolset or about things from the toolset wiki that you feel need clarification and we will attempt to answer you or give you tips on how to achieve what you might be wanting to do toolset wise or module wise.
Feel free to fire off questions. (For clarity sake, if you have multiple questions perhaps list them in numbered or point form.)

Does the toolset give you access to hair and eye colors? Say I wanted to use a color not in the character creator. Would I be able to add different colors either to the character creator or to an existing character?
The toolset morph editor has a lot more options than the normal in game character creator. I think there are more colours to choose from, at the very least you can see the colours much better in the toolset morph ediitor than in the character creator.
There is not an offically supported way of using a toolset morph in game however you can edit a saved game in a process that will let you use a toolset created morph.
If you have a look at the project named 'Beerfish spreadsheet Utilities' There is an excel file that has screen shots of the morph attriubtes in the toolset (eye colours makeup tattoos, hair colour and styles etc). Also there is a msword document that gives the steps to editing a saved game file to use a toolset created morph for your player. Link below:

How do I make my module more awesomer?
Pay people money to like it, and don't be cheap!
In reality the best option is to make something you enjoy and do not worry about pandering to too wide of an audience becasue someone will always like your mod and someone will always hate it. If you make a module and story that you like there is a good chance that some other people will like it as well.
You can still pay me cash to like it however. And the best thing is you can pay me in Canadian dollars unlike the scots and Brits that will want pounds.

Find an idea, build it, and then try it. Then let others try it.

Thanks for the link. As a follow up, it looks like there is a handful of additional colors there, but say we wanted to add violet and red eyes, which are not styles I see in your ecxell sheet. Is that possible?

Probably you can though not by any offocially supported means. Since those are actual file choices somewhere in the toolset they reside so someone could go in and change the colour probably and you would have your new colour. However I am not a custom content guru so others may be able to answer this better.
Oh, another thing, there are also special eyes types as well that do not show up in my spreadsheet (I should put them in there.) There are some that gives a cats eye look, and other very strange ones as well.

Fair enough. It we can get at the textures without to much trouble I can edit them myself, assuming the world doesn't blow up if I do so. Let us know when (if?) you update the excel file to include special type settings, I'd love to look through them while I wait for the actual release.
For a quick sample have a look at some of the screenshots I just uploaded which have some of the special eye types.
