Guardians email? followed by "communication interupted"

I registered my code correctly here on the correct account linked to my xbox live account and when i pop the game in the laptop is still down and when i hit Y to promp the log in to cerberus it keeps requesting my "guardians email" when i put a emial in or leave it blank i get to a screen saying "Error, Communication with the mass effect 2 server was interrupted ot timed out, please try again later. been trying again later all damn day. couldnt find an answer on these forums yet. ANY HELP?
