ok so i have the interraction bug like most of you. tried all the fixes but notta. well this works good for it>
start the game>go to options>graphics> change to window mode (not no border it will say just window)> you can go with 800-600 res if u want but i am running it with 960-600 and it is working.
when you need to interact with something do this> hit windows key or whatever you use to bring up start menu> then click on the mass effect 2 screen and hit spacebar at same time. ( you must at least be looking at the item to interact with and be in range). this has worked without fail for me everytime so far. no esc-esc mumbo jumbo just a simple click here & there n bam!. hope this helps some peeps till its fully fixed.

^^ additon^^ if anyone finds you can run it like this in a larger window mode or if i test it and it works i will update it on this topic.

so i played using this trick ^^above^^ and it worked till i got jordan character and went up some stairs. now there is no blue box to locate at all. its like its not there or theres some requirement not met yet. i dont know whats going on here for sure but this is a pretty rediculous bug for a supposedly ready to release game. bioware/EA should have done some form of test (beta or w.e) prior to releasing it in this shape.
