So the patch is for consoles only? I thought PC had an upcoming patch too?
We stopped hearing anything about 1.03 several weeks ago. We don't even know if they're still working on it. But no, as far as I understood that has absolutely nothing to do with RTO

Well now I am confused, because I do not know where I read that there was a PC patch coming with RTO as well... and I assumed it was in the same lines as 360 one (fixing main game bugs and ensuring compatibility with future content whatnot)

I'm just wondering why it matters. The
DLC is only 30min anyways. Why does it hurt the PC community SO much to
wait.
Because we were given a promise after we were told that we had to wait 6 months for the sake of consoles (as usual). When you're promised something from a company you trust, you normally happen not to be happy if that promise is broken. Expecially when that company is one of the few that don't normally screw you to appease the console market.
You start to suspect that that promise was just a smokescreen to keep us nice and calm, which isn't a good sensation.

Well if we're going to work on suspicions, my suspicions are that whatever deal went on behind closed doors, ..EA had something to do with it being the parent company.
That pretty much puts Bioware between a rock and a hard place..if so.

Well now that we have a better idea of what happened, I don't think they actually prioritized the 360 because of MS leverage, but rather because that console had a virus-like patch out that affected users.
It seems everything was ready to go on both 360 and PC. 360 screws up and gets the patch out before time, they realize there is a bug. They recall, freeze all platforms, inspect. The bug is in all platforms. Priority fix goes to the users who are already affected, which makes sense. Once that is fixed, they fix PC, then ps3?
Yup makes sense indeed.

whats up with the late PC release?
They fixed the issue with the xbox first I imagine, being that it broke their game.
