I agree, I fell in love with Dragon Age almost immediately after starting it. I went into the game as dalish warrior and waslike seriously wow, persistent gore, yes! *ahem* And all of the other awesome things about it too! I don't know much about Mass Effect to be honest other than I'm the proud owner of a useless Blood Dragon armor token, since ME2 isn't available for PS3. I don't play many games on the PC tbh, just F.E.A.R. 2 and the old school Need For Speeds, cause they're fun. I'm not disagreeing with you on the principles front, but the fact of the matter is they released for the 360 first and there is probably a good reason that they either don't want us to or we shouldn't know. C'est la vie.

Very happy to hear that RTO is on its way. A little... surprised... given what has happened so far that one platform appears to have been given priority. I don't begrudge XBox users their fun and good luck to them. However, I am... surprised (that word again)... that Bioware did not get all three versions out at the same time.

@ CoS Sarah Jinstar - lol Seriously. Sort of like all gamering guys being all pimplefaced and ugly or gaming girls are all fat and homely (that one in particular makes my blood boil). The number of assumptions people make (and I'm hardly excluding myself from that) is no less than comical to read about.

Naw no worries, I'm over it, just amazed that a fellow PC user is absolutely fine with Bioware breaking promises. Granted it could very well be an EA thing but considering they were already owned by EA when the promise about the console versions wouldn't affect PC users was made, I doubt it.

On the flip side it's very likely that 90% of the actual PC users don't give a damn when the DLC comes out.

You want to see assumptions...there's a pretty good one made by our friend here the day I removed everything including characters in order to fix my characters not uploading and other bugs I was having problems with.

A certain person you are responding to, took it upon herself to indicate that I had been banned.  When in fact I was attempting to fix a buggy account.  I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

Why was she doing this?  Pure maliciousness on her part.

Its come down to the point I am thinking she's some sort of weirdo stalker.

Just glad we're finally getting it to be honest. Though its obvious at this point which sku is more important to Bioware and EA. Pretty crappy considering its the PC fanbase that got Bioware to where it is today, from the Interplay days (unpaid royalties and all) to Atari and NWN's storied development history and now with the Evil Empire that Trip built. Would be nice to see some of that devotion paid back towards the fanbase. Thats really the only upsetting thing about it.

Character info not uploading, I have all the ports open.   Bio page reports "excess files being uploaded"  error  1005.

So I deleted everything and started from scratch, but the server keeps redownloading non-existant characters..that I deleted.

Only thing that works for me is my own little workaround...I noted the auto-save files sometimes save over themselves more than once,   Up to four times in fact.  So any time I see one that does that..I delete it.  My new character has been uploading like it should for the first time since November 3rd.   Thats something I figured out myself.   What I want to know is WHY the autosave ..does that, what causes it.   Hopefully someone can figure that one out.

I don't know if gaming companies even look at that to be honest. I mean seriously, how many PC gamers bought a 360 or PS3 and play games on that? How many like it more? I'm one, I started playing on a PC with Galactix for DOS and ended around the same time Descent 3 (Interplay) was finished and I got a PS2. Decided I liked the console feel better. I think BioWare views it as they make games for gamers, not for the platform they opt to play it on

Well considering you said about 100 times you'd stop replying to people and stiring the pot, it was odd that your name and portrait disappeared is all. There wasn't anything malicious about it, it was an observation. The difference is Fera, I freely admitted being somewhat ****y, you on the other hand just continued to poke poke poke at people while going on about how innocent and attacked you were.

Like I said before, thats great you feel the need to defend Bioware at all cost no matter the situation but seriously give the whole holier than thou routine a rest, because you're not. You made your share of personal attacks as well.

Well the money is certainly with the consoles now, 360 especially. I hear what you're saying and you're prolly right, though its a shame it has to go to that. Still do wish NWN had ended up with the place holder spell effects from the original trailer on the Throne of Bhall disk but thats a conversation for a different thread.

No controller can replace a Keyboard and a Mouse for me. Also there is no PC like mine in the world it is unique to me. I like the infinite amounts of customization options it has. I have a 360 which I find to be a bit well boring imo. To each his own I suppose.
