Russian transplanted in Canada. I think jaded is probably a better word, I can't stand this country
Lol !!
A Russian in Canada? Of all the places to go, why on earth would you move there.....
I am a Canadian who left Canada for Europe in 1998. Best thing I ever did in my life, only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!!
My dad moved us here when my older sister and I were 15 and 12. Our options were limited. We're planning on going home in the next few years

It was hard to get started. It took me about 6 months to get to level 60.. Around 30 it got more interesting. Then I got to 70, did a few raids, got bored and quit
Well endgame is all about raids and grind..or at least it was, when I played. Raid raid raid til you vomit. hehe
Got tired of the squabbling over "phat lewts"

Final Fantasy was not meant to be an MMORPG. I know a lot of people that had the same experience, get it, go wtf and cancel in the first month
Agreed, though it really seems like Square is just esentially remaking the same game over and over at this point anyway with some interace tweaks. Spikey haired emo hero? check! Crazy bad guy? check! over the top huge creatures for special attacks? check. Give me a western developed RPG like DA:O or Baldurs Gate over that stuff anyday.
Final Fantasy could be be a solid mmorpg, but it's all about how you actually design your game.
Square-Enix actually based FF XI on Everquest, which was a super hardcore mmorpg(the old school mmorpg). It was way too hard for the typical FF fanbase, not to mention completely different from the singleplayer games. You could hardly solo, summoning sucked, you would fight one monster at a time, weak story, etc. The farming for cash or to craft was beyond ludicrous,as was the waiting time for an exp party depending on your class and luck.
That's the major problem of Square-enix in the last few years. They have all the trouble in the world to come up with a good game, let alone a great one.The problem seems to be designing a game, which result in every game being released with annoying flaws. The latest FF on the Wii sound absolutely horrendous...

I hear ya g/f. Between the nerdrage, the people that spoke english worse than I do and it's my 2nd language, the 'leetspeak' and stupid time requirements for the raiding I just couldn't do it

To the other posters: I'm quite sure RtO will be more than 30 minutes worth of content (unless you play like a speed-demon with skipping dialogues, etc.) and may have some replay value. Surely I also hope it's not some kind of "Pinnacle Station" like mod, although I might get it anyway.

lol It's gotta be bigger than Warden's Keep or Stone Golem was.. I think doing the spell lock puzzle took me more time than clearing either of those levels, and that didn't take long. It would be neat if they did it Heavenly Sword style with a seige cannon and an ocean of darkspawn to shoot at for diminished XP amounts
More content and quests than Wardens Keep? Would be nice, but it's rather hopeful thinking. Also if some people, who played a leaked version, say they were through after 30-60 minutes, then it sounds unlikely even if the final version takes twice as long. With WK cost 7$ and RtO priced 5$, I'd expect a similar amount of content. Then again I'm wondering why it takes months to create a DLC with seemingly little content. Perhaps RtO will surprise all.
More content than Stone Prisoner? Think again. In spite of the higher price, I strongly feel SP gives you way more value for the price than WK. That's my personal opinion, but consider, that WK has one major quest line, some cool items, nice cut-scenes, new vendors and items and a storage chest. SP has TWO quests, another riddle, also some good cut-scenes, new items for the Golem, interesting story content -- especially if you read "The Stolen Throne" -- PLUS a unique and fully voiced valuable companion to take along. While I consider SP good value for the price, I'd rate WK overpriced by 2$.

What's going on with the pc version? You wanted it to release the day the XBox version was originally released.

Maybe an other Microsoft Xbox 360 exclusive deal. It start to become common that DLC's for any game are released first to 360 and later to other platforms.

Well... at 5:41 am EST it is shown on xbox live as a free download... unfortunately it will not download (error message 80153016). I tried both before and after the new title update. Apparently the third time is not the charm for Bioware. "Pigeon Crap."
Do you already have the DLC installed?

Me too, oh well back to ME2 I guess.... but it might not be Bioware this time when I got the new DLC for Assasins Creed 2 yesterday for the first part of the day it kept doing the same thing. (trying to have a little faith in bio

Having the same issue here. Same error as well. And no download either. Perhaps after all this headache though it -should- be free (kidding). I'm just sitting and waiting to see if it gets fixed promptly. Hopefully it wont take too long now that it's released. I want the king's armor already <_<
