I don't know if gaming companies even look at that to be honest. I mean seriously, how many PC gamers bought a 360 or PS3 and play games on that? How many like it more? I'm one, I started playing on a PC with Galactix for DOS and ended around the same time Descent 3 (Interplay) was finished and I got a PS2. Decided I liked the console feel better. I think BioWare views it as they make games for gamers, not for the platform they opt to play it on
*jumps up and down*
I'm one of those people.. i do in a way prefer the xbox for gaming as i don't feel like a complete saddo sat in my back room just talking to my cats while i play, you can sit in a group of people playing different games and actually talk can be quite hilarious at times ^^ but also im a modern warfare girl shooting the little people that shouldn't own an 18 rated game in the face then hear them try to insult me in the lobby oh it warms my heart bwahaha
I was always a PC Gamer apart from the PSOne for FFVII
I do prefer the PC version for the hotbars over that stupid radial wheel thing though...

Do you usually buy copies of the same game for all your platforms???
If so, that must get damn expensive ...
I am a PC gamer only, and that is bad enough!

I'm just wondering why it matters. The DLC is only 30min anyways. Why does it hurt the PC community SO much to wait. Bioware does the programming and we are just customers. I don't know anything there is to know about programing and I'm pretty certain that a lot of you guys don't either. You can't sit there an say you know for sure that there wasn't anything wrong with the PC version of anything.
The wait I can live with, but coming to the forums is a risk as spoilers pop up in even unobvious places. And with all respect, the fact that the DLC is short is actually more hurtful, not less. A few spoilers in a massive game (123 hours for me first time played) is insignificant, in a short DLC they are rather more damaging.
I'm not blaming anyone for posting spoilers, it's very hard to unlearn knowledge as it were and ofcourse once legitimately released, no one can justifiably accuse others of "spoiling" even outside of spoiler forums. But when the only alternative is to stay away from the forums until your version is in sync with other versions, then owners of other versions are doubly deprived.

I think the highlight of evolution will be the gamers.. future generations born with an inbuilt wireless connection and the ability to download and play games in their minds
Shes doesn't play them as such but she does attack the screen... it was worse when i played on the PC tho she would sit in front of the monitor attacking murlocs..

To me, any game that is released on multiple platforms should be treated equally and not have companies play favorites. I am not a fanboy of one console or the other since I have all the consoles. I just think that since other people bought this game (not just 360 users) that everyone should be able to have access to all the material and not have the feeling that they are being screwed over.
In the end it is just the same backroom deals and promises that will always get made between these companies that will keep these types of situations happening.
I don't expect the PS3 version of this DLC to be available until the end of February which will conveniently fall within the original wait between the 2 console versions.

That being said, I hope I'll be able to play RtO next week. I own the game on 360 but I'd much rather just play it on PC.

P.S.: Actually, the tank items are really good now that I've taken another look. This is better than I thought, but still not as much of an offering as WK. Although, it does cost $2 less, so....

So hey, before I download this, any word on if there are any problems with the Title Update or RtO itself like last time? I don't want to DL it if it'll break my machine like it broke everyone else's last time.

I agree that's the major advantage to console games, is the amount of personal interactivity as opposed to every communication being through a wire. Sure, you can port multiple PCs together but that's space consuming and inefficient
@bri193 - I don't buy games for the 360 anymore, since I quite frankly abhor the interface and the damn thing locked up on me so many times I gave it to my older sister to use a DVD player. But some games just HAVE to be played on a PC, and others just HAVE to be played on a PS3. And some it's convenient to have both!
And shooting.. KB and mouse sucks. 2stick SIXAXIS shooting is so much easier

Look at it this way. If you're a PC user, you have mods. Guess what? Us console gamers will never get to play any of the mods that you do. We can't create our own quests, touch up the graphics.
So? You got exactly what was advertised. I don't remember Bioware ever promising console users the toolset, while they did promise priority to PC users. So yeah, while you have no reason to complain for what is your choice (chosing the inferior version of the game), PC users have reason to be disgruntled for seeing a broken promise.
If I had a few grand that I didn't mind throwing down on a PC gaming unit, maybe I would. Guess what, that's ****ing expensive and I have better things to do with that money.
Again, this is your choice. What does it have to do with the matter at hand?

And that must be why in shooters-dedicated forums controller users whine endlessly about how the ones that use accessories like the FragFX are "cheating"?
Sorry, but no controller will ever match the precision and the response of a mouse.

So it seems the forums have no turned into a place for PC users to whine a lot? Granted everybody has whined over RtO, but seriously....put on a pedestal?? Are you for real?? Look at it this way. If you're a PC user, you have mods. Guess what? Us console gamers will never get to play any of the mods that you do. We can't create our own quests, touch up the graphics. If I had a few grand that I didn't mind throwing down on a PC gaming unit, maybe I would. Guess what, that's ****ing expensive and I have better things to do with that money. Yes, 360 users get the DLC before you. But you know, sometimes the **** hits the fan.
I heard you can get a decent PC for under a grand that can run Dragon Age on it. I play it on a laptop that cost under a thousand. And it plays it gloriously. Heck, you could use the money you spent on your 360 to get one instead, with a little saved up money. But no, you chose a console due to your own personal gaming preferences, and there isn't anything wrong with that. You wanna play Halo, Modern Warfare and Dragon Age on 360, good on you. There are others who have gaming PCs for the purpose of PC gaming, whether it be MMO's (I know I used to play WoW hardcore), Crysis or any other game that's available for PC.
Basically, the point I'm saying is this: You chose your platform; we all did. I'm never really a fan of multi-platformed games, because stuff like this always winds up happening and you get disgruntled patrons. Frankly, I can't see you being able to play Dragon Age as thoroughly as you can on a PC while on a 360, however I also haven't tried it.... but I digress:

Bingo. PC gamers had to wait 6 months for this game to come out, so some folks are already/still aggrevated about that turn of events. Bioware said that the PC platform players wouldn't experience this type of thing any longer, yet here we are. Why does the 360 community, once again, get to have this before PC players and PS3 (sorry guys) players? I could say "save it for next week when the PC is ready", but that'd make me a hypocrite, even though the PC community is due for some love (yeaaah 6 month delay). So, with that in mind, why not hold it back until whenever the poor PS3 community is going to have it ready? That'd be most fair to everyone, and it wouldn't look like the 360 people are getting put in front of everyone else.

I really don't mind if it is the "inferior, not as good as, not really RPG" version, I used to play lots of games in a PC ages ago and there were no forums or else where people can "express" their opinions, now that we've got it, this is look more like a scenario for whining and flaming instead of exchange information among users... I really doubt that most of the posters fulfill the 18 y.o. bracket... at least mentally...
