I've been a Tali fan forever and when Shepard and her finally started showing feelings for each other I was overjoyed.

I thought it was extremely sweet and touching how determined she was to find a way for them to be together without her suit and such.

Then the time came.

Tali fumbles through her words, Shepard calms her down, removes her mask, she pounces on Shepard, and then queue fade to black.

Now, I'm not asking for one of Biowares infamous love scenes (tho I do think Bioware does a great job at keeping those tasteful), but come on... they could have done something.
Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely grateful that Bioware listened to the outcry of Tali lovers after ME1.. I'm just slightly disappointed by how little they put into it.

and not even showing her face was a giant kick in the nads...

[Edit]
Just to clarify, I'm not askig for a sex scene.
Like another poster said, Tali's romance was far more about the emotional side of things.
I just wish Bioware put a little more work into it.

Hehe I was like, I'm finally going to see what the Quarian look like, and then, nooooooooo......

But honestly, I like ti this way, I think it's something that might be revealed in ME3 though, it's become something of a gimmick now and you can't just show them to us already.

This isn't a disappointed romance topic as much as it's a I wanted a more graphic love scene topic. Graphic meaning a number of things.

I thought the romance was great and Tali is totally my girl, but something extra, like the wakeup scene afterwards in me1 would have been nice. Instead we have to wait until we beat the game to get a chance to talk with them again.

What really, I didn't know there was a tali romance option. Is it only available for male characters?

I wish we get to see her face.

That's the point. They don't want you to see her face. It keeps the mystery going. Plus, it makes you wonder and hope they give you a glimpse of what's underneath the mask in ME3.

It's a tame scene, which I approved of. I felt Tali's romance was more about the emotional side of things, than just getting her into bed. I personally enjoyed the little bit of dialogue leading up to the encounter more than the encounter itself. I do wish there was more dialogue afterward, to add more depth and continuing sub-plot for their romance. But, hopefully, we'll see it continued in ME3.

im sure they will eventually. i mean, "supposedly" there is a commercial over the loudspeaker in the citadel about a company that has had some results with boosting the immune systems of quarian and volus so they can live without their suits. i personally havent heard it since i really didnt pay attention to them.

but, if by the end of the third installment, we dont get to see tali's face, i think there will be a huge uproar from the fans.

but, on a side note, i did like the dialogue with tali when it was over in the engine room.  when i heard it, i was like "you little mynx!"

TL;DR, OP and anyone else who was "Disappointed" got megatrolled by Bioware.

If I don't see Tali's face in ME3, Bioware will be getting a very nasty letter from me. >:(

Well I think Tali's romance was handled exceptionally well. I too was hoping to see her face, but the fact that it remains hidden doesn't cheapen the romantic aspect at all, for me. I do hope that Tali will return in ME3 and perhaps they are saving the big reveal for the end of the trilogy.

Yeah, I thought it was clever of Bioware to not show her face. Lol, showing Tali fans they can't have their cake and eat it too.

What I want to know is If I went against what Tali wanted in her loyalty mission is that it? I can't ever get her loyal and she's forever pissed? o.O

I'd rather know if I can romance her with a purely renegade Shepard...as long as i'm nice to her.

The Volus' problem isn't their immune systems so much as they can't breathe the typical oxygen-nitrogen mix that most sentient species breathe in the ME universe, and they come from such a high-pressure atmosphere that anything else causes their skin to blister. That is, IIRC. :?

Volus would actually explode, or depressurize if exposed to 'normal' air pressure. Like us in space.

You're correct. The quarians need suits to protect their fragile immune systems from infection or bad allergic reactions. The volus need suits because their respiratory systems are completely different and they are highly pressurized.
