Hi,
I've just gotten "The Krogan" and am trying to go down to the cargo bay. but I can't get there, because the game freezes every time I try to take the elevator down to the engineering deck of the Normandy. Has anyone else had this problem?

(Windows 7, 64-bit)

I had a similar issue when trying to go to engineering. It would just hang at the loading screen. Running the installation again fixed my issue.

Well...easier said than done actually since I got the game through Steam...but maybe I'll re-download overnight.

If it's through Steam try doing "Verify integrity of game cache..." and "Defragment cache files". Just right click on the game and go to "Properties" then to the "Local files" tab.

I get the same crash and have reinstalled not steam through ea.....
