I love the soundtrack of Dragon Age, full of gorgeous songs and tunes... and yet the trailers for the Awakening expansion are using tracks that I recognize from "The Lord of the Rings: The Battle For Middle-Earth II". For someone who's played said game, it's really jarring and bothersome. Besides that, they really don't sound like they belong in the same soundtrack as Dragon Age. Is EA forcing Bioware to recycle tracks from their other titles?
Awakening... what the heck's up with your music?

Hehe. I said the same thing in the Awakening boss fight sticky. I knew I heard that theme from somewhere. was from BFME =)

Well if I'm creating a trailer for Awakenings in a situation where the Sound Designer might not have even thought about working on atmospheric music and the like, I'd grab whatever was available. If EA was willing to donate licensed music, all the better. It gives you more choice.
