I noticed this after my going on my upgrade frenzy lol. The best bets for Element Zero and practically all the other resouces is any planet that is a side mission or destress call. Everyone planet with the option to land that I've been to is always RICH and has a ton of Element Zero plus Platinum. Iridium and Palladium are plentyful in about every other planet. So remember alway scan before u land. Bioware wasn't lying when they said that exploring will give u a big leg up in the end and i can't think of a better way to reward you for exploring the side missions they worked so hard on, than a easy scan loot. That my 2 cents let me know if its the same case with your game too?

I've been looking for a good place to start getting Element Zero and Platinum. Lots of upgrades to get and not enough minerals to do it. Thanks.

There is one post garden world in a system, cant remember which, but it was literally amazing. Four or five max nodes of all four minerals... got everything above 40k accept for Element Zero, which hit 15k
It was great, I fully upgraded snipes and smgs for the last mission.

I always run low on element zero and iridium. Last night I found a bunch of all four (including element zero) on Gotha, a planet in the system that Tali's recruitment quest is on. There was also a good bit on the planet that Jacob's quest is on (scan before you land)

I find if you look around random planets you get more than enough of everything, like right now I have 100K+ for every mineral except Element Zero which is at 70K(ish)
