I don't see why everyone is bashing the MP idea, I mean look what it did for Neverwinter nights, that community is still going strong, hell I still play it. I think DA would be amazing to see in a persistent world like NWN. Having this game go MP wouldn't hurt anything for the people who only enjoy single player. They could just simply ignore the MP button when loading their game. It wouldn't change a thing for the single players. Maybe we will see it later on down the road, when I bought the game. I assumed they were going down the same road as they did with NWN, not that I am complaining that its only single player, its still a great game, it would just be nice to play with a few of my friends too.
I am mostly looking forward to playing some custom content.
