Spent the time surveying practically every planet I came across because I was afraid I'd run into a huge upgrade and not be able to afford it.
Guess I'll know better next time.
Anyone else end the game with a giant stockpile of resources?

Pretty sure I ended the game with over 100K in everything 'cept Element Zero.

I researched everything save for a few 5/5 weapons that I didn't use and still had that much remaining.
Almost cried when i realized all that time was wasted. =(

Yeah, I only scanned planets when I had an upgrade that I couldnt afford. OP got OCD-owned, imo.

I actually find scanning planets as kind of relaxing. And you never know if you will find a N7 mission.

Why is it a waste to be OCD and probe the crap out of every planet you find, then research everything you can?

Also, its only a waste when you end up with 100k of all resources and nothing left to research.

Well... if ME3 takes into account how many resources we had at the end of ME2, maybe we'll get big bonuses at the beginning of ME3! lol
