I use the cain on the human reaper and on some Heavy mechs, honestly its good but only on the last mission.



Your other weapons are more than capable of dealing with the other major enemies e.g.



Sniper gun (widow maker kills in one headshot!)

The only problem is you get so few amounts of shots you have to make every shot count.



is it a plot hole to think that using a mini nuke inside a ship or in close range would disable all your tech or the tech in the ship you are in from the EMP from the nuke? wouldn't the EMP wave from the nuke fry your implants or your armor and weapons?

No, it's a failure to read to codex where they point out that "nuke gun" is an inaccurate colloquialism based on the tremendous explosion and the traditional mushroom cloud. It throws a 25g explosive slug at 5km/s. There is no nuclear material outside the onboard fusion power unit*.


* Total speculation based on the nuclear warning symbol on the M-920 and the fact it eats stupid amounts of power.

You have to collect enough ammo to push it over 100%.

I used it at the end of Jacks loyalty mission, It cleared the whole room... didn't really need to.. I was just doing a speed run.

Thing sucks.... you only get one shot. I'd rather have the arc projector or blackstorm singularity gun.

It makes sense, though. You have a semi-nuke attached to your back.

Yeah, but still I was thrilled followed by extreme disappointment the first time I used it. I was like FUCK YEAH TAKE THAT!!!! Then... went to shoot again and nothing happened! I was all wtf POS kind of gun is this!? lmao

Still, I prefer my sniper rifle over any heavy gun anyway.

I used it on the Colossus and was like "Holy crap!". Not only did it kill the Colossus, but all the geth down on that level. I thought I had killed Kal'Reeger too, but he was fine. Since all the geth died, I took my time looking around for credits and resources. Haven't used it since.

It says that it's incorrectly nicknamed the nuke gun, only because of it's explosion. It's not actually a nuke.

First time I used the Cain was on the two heavy mech's during Garrus' loyalty mission.



When I finished ****ting my pants and the mushroom cloud went away, there was nothing left. 'Twas epic!

Best to use the Cain Gun when fighting a big boss like the Thrasher Maw, Geth Colossus or the Human Reaper Larva.

First time I used it was against the Purgatory Warden.



Went through his gigantic shield and exploded, then the ending cutscene started.

I remember using it the first time. I almost cryed with awe. "I-i-it's B-beautiful" I sniffed as the entire platoon of Blood Pack vanished from exsistance. That gun is worthy of Jesus Christ himself...if he used guns.

I use it mostly on the Reaper Core but on my vanguard playthrough I used it on the Human Reaper.
It makes you feel so bad ass when you hit it square in the eye =D

If your going for insanity, dont use it, the arc projector works great, hits multiple enemys and does decent damage. if your dont have the arc projector, use the missle launcher or the cain if you have to.
