haha. am i that crazy?

so i just got done picking up garrus and the doctor. went to the see the console with anderson. now instead of being like "ok, i appreciate the unofficial support" i told them to go screw off. so, now i didnt get any help and i'm curious as to whether that help was something valuable to the game and i should re-do it or its just a plot choice.

thank you!

All they give you is your Spectre status back. That's it.
Oh, and the guarantee that they'll ignore your actions so long as you stay in the Terminus Systems for the most part.

.... Seems that the Asari and Salarian Councilors are now earning themselves a position on my hit list alongside their Turian counterpart... *readies sniper rifle*

Their help involves reinstating you as a spectre which means absolutly NOTHING. No gear, No upgrades, just less renegade points.

Saw 2 instances where "I'm a spectre" was a dialogue choice it was either greyed out or ignored.

you basically go to the citadel to learn they don't care about you, then like me I got lost in the shops and didn't care anymore b/c it was more fun to shop than listen to them ignore the fact reapers are real lol

Turian Councellor was especially bad this time. How dare he put my words in quotation mark hand signs! Good thing for them my MainShep is a patient idealist.

thanks for the clarification. thats helpful. i have a feeling that ME:2 Shepard is going to be a bit more pissed and a bit less kind to the ignorant.

I was playing a Paragon Shep from ME1 and I almost told them off. I though to myself that I should have left them to die.

Trust me, plenty of times in the game you catch flak about doing that, i was tired of hearing about how i killed the council (by not sacrificing alliance ships to do so) by the time it was over.  Better to let them ahve their little positions of complacency as far as paragons are concerned.

You get the same a few times if you saved the council too; remembering that Cerberus is for the most part anti-human it's not uncommon for certian people to bring up the ships lost because of Shep's actions.  Lol, damned if you do - damned if you don't.

Ripping the journalists words apart with logic about crew sizes was fun, though.
