There are a couple of returning favorites at your disposal this time around, but which new addition do you like the most?
My favorite new character is definitely Mordin. He's unintentionally hilarious, precise, and still has a cold, calculating darkside to him.
Who is your favorite?
your favorite NEW character?

My overall favorite is probably gonna be Grunt, he's just adorable and awesome, and really enthusiastic. When he calls Shepard his battlemaster is adorable.
And Mordin is definately a very, very close second, he's hilarious! Not only is he a good doctor, he's a good friend.

It's hard to choose, I really like all of them. Legion and Mordin would be tied for my favorite of the new crew.
If the suicide mission means they won't be back in ME3 even if they survived, it will feel like a lesser game for their loss.

Kelly, then EDI.
Oh wait, squad only...
Mordin, Legion. Although I was hoping Legion was more independant, I still liked him a lot.

For new characters?
Legion
Mordin
Thane
In that order. I'd say that Legion is my second favorite Mass Effect character overall. I just wish he'd call us 'Meatbags'...

Grunt. I was never a huge Wrex fan in the first game, but Grunt is absolutely fantastic. They really did a bang-up job with his facial animations.

Legion, Mordin and Thane are probably my favorites that are new.
The rest were pretty damn good too, though Legion and Thane were just so badass and Mordin was hilarious.

Mordin, Legion, Thane, Grunt. Garrus and Tali are interesting but I think they feel a little empty this time around, Mordin seems to say and do the most, and I love hearing what he has to say or his opinions on encounters off the ship.

I like the new ones pretty equal, except Samara and Jack. Now I understand why Jack is like she is, but I just don't fancy her ugly tattoos. I wouldn't mind if they looked good but she looks worse than an indian warpainted by someone on red dust.
Samara, I just don't feel it. I don't like her look or jedi consular feel. She's powerful, but she doesn't feel like such a hardass that she fits the rest of the crew (ME1 squad excluded).

This is actually why I like Legion...it's a real character with its own identity, not just an HK-47 clone that some people were hoping for. Had he been, I would have immediately ignored him.

It seems I'm the only Jack fan. Honestly I feel like she's one of the most interesting characters, especially if you invest the time to fully explore the relationship. She was my first romance choice. And she has the same name as me lmao.

Mordin FTW.
I also rather liked Jacob and Miranda as well. Heck, I liked pretty much ALL the new characters.

Mordin is absolutely hilarious.
Legion is just plain awesome, and original. We've all seen the races ME has to offer. But a Geth? Just awesome. Also, I was just hoping for a KOTOR reference, not an HK clone.
Thane was a pagan space-ninja. I don't need to say anymore. I also find his voice cool. His best scene was on his loyalty mission, where he's praying before it starts, then two people walk by and he's vanished. Just cool.
Did not like Bioware's immature approach to Jack's character, or Miranda's cold personality. Also, Miranda would look better blonde. Just a personal opinion.

Thane because he is a great assassain but again has a human side to him i can kinda relate to him but not in the way that i kill ppl
and garrus has much improved since the first one he was basically the walking dead everytime i would put him on my squad in ME1 he would die in every single fight but now he alot tougher but my all time favourite squad member is from ME1 wrex he was kick ass, grunt just doesnt fit the krogan role as well as wrex did for me.
