Like most of you I pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 the night it came out, and its amazing.  I've been busy with school and work so I'm not that far.  I have come to the point where I can go to purgatory to recruit subject zero.  I have never been found of her, for obvious reasons, and would prefer to pass on her.  I have heard that you can basically choose who you want and who you don't want.  Can you skip this mission comepletely?  or is this a mandatory mission? Any help would be great
