Definitely Leliana. There's so much more to know about her and where she's been, so many more stories to tell. She's so guileless and innocent and free as well.

And her accent. I think her accent does me in.

Actually, her accent DEFINITELY does me in. I could listen to it on my iPod.

However, she ties with Morrigan for favorite character.

There are only two good reasons to want a virgin: 1) So you can train them to your liking  2) So they don't know how bad you are in bed.

Really, the idea of a virgin is sexy, but virgins themselves are awkward, uncertain, fumbling, self conscious and not that much fun in bed the first few times.

Neither. I'm not a huge fan of either of them.

Morrigan is just mean, and she's lieing to you from the begining of the game.

And Leliana is the physical embodiment of most of my pet peeves. And she spent most of her life lieing to and manipulating people. And she sees no problem with it.

Most of the time I just stay single.

WOW, I'm very surprised at the number of people who picked Morrigan.. I really am. She's a terrible person, people!! She has almost no morals, except that power and dominance are the keystones to life!!! Leliana is sweet, with a good heart and a beautiful outlook on the world. She isn't a fanatic, she just believes in the Maker-- this is supposed to represent medieval England, of course people are going to ****ing be religious, 99% of people were in England!!! Besides having a serene view of the world, she also has a fiery heart and will fight when needed. She's also learned from her mistakes with Marjorlaine in Orlais, whilst Morrigan seems to be a static character. With Leliana you actually have love, with Morrigan you might get a "zesty" fling or two, but then she'll be off. You all are just obsessed with the mysteriousness of Morrigan.

I do not understand the point of this thread, but I'll answer, I'd pick Leliana, I really like Morrigan, but her more as a friend, both girls have their charms I have to say, but I'd choose Leliana.

All right, I'm posting here, so I guess I should make my post remotely pertinent. It really depends on the character I'm playing. My current character has seen the softer side of Morrigan (approval 100: we're buddies, lol), but it takes a strong character to get past the first snide remarks and actually win her over.  I plan on making yet another character to romance Leliana; I don't see how the same person could go for both.

As for me, I don't swing that way, but I can see myself being friends with Morrigan. What can I say, I enjoy a good challenge.

And in computer games we can live dangerously without consequence, as opposed to RL.

Leliana is a bard an can be faking her feelings to get on your "Good side" with privileges.

Morrigan the same thing, she doesn't believe in love, thinks it is futile, and is manipulating you.

Either way, you're screwed so pick the hotter. Morrigan.

Morrigan is overrated. There are tons of bad girl characters who have the same recycled bad girl look. Plus Leliana has a french accent which is totally sexy. Also in game morrigans face looks a lot better than in the romance scene.

True, Leliana might be hot, but I like Morrigan way more. She may not be the most liked in the party, but Leliana is a bit too religious.

Leilana was more evil than Morrigan was.  She used to murder innocent people for money, and later on even fantasized about going back to that life.  All Morrigan did was act like a b!tch.  Morrigan's only flaw is that she was selfish - that would put her alignment at 'neutral'.  When the templars (armed religious fanatics) came to kill her and her mother, they would try to evade them, even though killing them in self-defense would have been perfectly justified.  Personally, I wouldn't romance either one of them.  When I played the game, I romanced Leilana, but that's just in the game.  In real life, I'd be completely businesslike with both of them.  Of all the female companions in both games, Sigrun had the best personality and would probably make the best long-term companion.  Leilana would have been mentally unstable, and may turn on you at some point in the future.

No spoilers that I know of below, just what I figure it must be:

Leliana is the nicer person in some ways and not weak either so I would like her.

Morrigan is unnatainable which is sad because, for all that she is an old god, she has a humanity and depth of compassion that transcends both her mortal frame and her divine heritage.

Were I me as others see me, I would pick Leliana because she is real and human and strong with it.
But I am not, so I will be alone.

I'd have picked the forest spirit too
