I would have to go with Morrigan. Granted she is a bit blunt with the others, but some still view her as a Witch of the Wild, so she returns the favor and lives up to the name in a sense throughout the game. I also like the conflict between the player and her about the whole love issue. But we will have to see what happens in DA2.

Women usually are the ones that will project onto guys things that aren't there. But apparently dudes do it a lot too, because a lot of posters in this topic are seeing and posting things about morrigan that just aren't true. She's shallow, brainless, and completely indifferent about anyone but herself. There's nothing else to it. She gets a little clingy with you, great, that's called brain chemicals, doesn't change the outcome now does it?

He can be soo funny! He can also be a bit childish some times but that is what i like about him.

I'm all about Alistair now, at first I thought he was a puss and annoying, but he's definitely grown on me, He's my fave, like the perfect man funny, snarky, sweet, sensative, and can still stand up for himself and others...I'm all about it....

Well, I didn't think he was annoying at first, but he did seem immature.  As time went on though I figured out that was just his way of dealing with horrific circumstances and the fatalism which is part of being a Warden.

I made sure to invite him into the tent before he asked.

In the game I managed to get both, but in reality as much as I love the good girl. Its alwmost more fun to be with the bad girl so I'd say Morrigan.

Was planning for Leliana... stumbled into romancing Morrigan. But it never seemed like a real "romance" to me.

Unfortunately, all romancing options for Leliana were already gone (missed the right dialogue ). Still, I had her at +100 approval and her personal quest going.

And after Leliana's personal quest, I was able to have her accept who she really is and also trigger the romance option again.

So, after all, Leliana is the way to go, especially if she accepts her past. Also, story and dialoguewise, romancing Leliana seems to be "more".

Morrigan was an affair, not a romance, if you compare it.

So, trying both and ultimately choosing Leliana ... that's my vote.

I'd choose Leliana, but from reading the posts here I gather she has way too many fingerprints on her already... Guess it's good I found out she has half a million lovers before marrying her. *trots of, heartbroken*

Leilana defenitely. When people say she is boring, they haven't taken her earlier life experiences into account.
The killing and seducing part as well as the travels make her quite interesting, I think.

Morrigan is detached, doesn't trust anyone really other than herself. I had a feeling that a romance with her will only lead to disappointment and pain.

In one of the epilog options (don't want to spoil things here) you find out how much you affected your companions and after watching it, I know I choose right, for myself.

After a few playthroughs, I would take Leliana on the fact I have a weakness for milky skinned readheads with good physiques and a french/english accent.



Morrigan would be a good tumble around the tent, just hope she doesn't shapeshift at climax.. as Allistair would say.. creeepy.



Anora on the other hand... that would be a mystery worth solving on my next male character playthrough.
