[Malorath]

 When I try to land on the Citadel for the first time from the galaxy map, the screen goes black and nothing happens. I can hear background noise, like the atmosphere of a space station, but nothing changes.

Windows 7 64
Intel X9650
Geforce 9800 GX2 with 196.21 Drivers (Latest)
4 gigs RAM

Same here. I'm running the -nomovies thing.

That's the problem I found out, I was running it that way as well. Play without -nomovies and it works fine.

I'm having this problem too... I can't run without -nomovies though.

Every other place seems to run fine with the -nomovies except Citadel sigh

I'm on a Single core CPU

Anyone have a clue as to how to fix it. Is Bioware even working on it? I haven't seen an official response about this issue yet, let alone a fix, or even a projected fix release. I realize Bioshock 2 comes out this month but come on...I didn't buy the game to not be able to play it all the way through.

There is no way any of those who have responded to the OP's message could confirm to the rest of the readers here that your problem is, indeed, identical. You don't include any information. That makes the result merely a gripe, not a problem report at all.

O'k. I am remove parameters -nomovies -nomoviestartup from command line MassEffect2.exe



And thats all right. ;-)
