When I use the right stick to scroll through the content of email messages in Shepard's private terminal, it jumps way too fast. I'll try to read the beginning of the message, and then I start to scroll down to see more and it jumps to the end so I have to VERY carefully barely move the stick back up to view the middle. Not that big a deal, but it's starting to annoy me a little bit. This doesn't seem to be a problem when scrolling through entries in the Codex.

It goes so quick because the e-mail is usually small, I believe. I have no trouble at all. Just read a screen full, and when you scroll down to the view the rest, you wont lose your spot, as it will be at the end.

the mails can be pretty large at times so it can skip almost all of the middle text.



just tap down a little and that should work.

Still, even if the email is short, the fact that it "jumps" makes me lose what line I was on.

I've only played as far as when you get the new Normandy and already I'm hating the scroll speed for text. Over the past two decades of gaming, using a computer, and reading text on screen my system has become one where I center on the paragraph I am reading. Just a habit I suppose. But that is impossible with the ridiculous scroll speed in ME2. I find it impossible to actually scroll. No matter how gentle I am with the R stick it just snaps to the end. This seriously needs to be fixed.

Have to agree with this the e-mail text scrolling is way too fast for my liking

I wouldn't really call this a tech support issue, but it does scroll too fast.

It is a bug, thus I consider it a tech issue. All other scrolling boxes go at a decent speed, but the mail info scrolling goes too fast.

if you push your stick to the right its a little more managable.

Yeah you need to read the entire portion of the text a lot of the time before scrolling, or you will miss out on a few lines. I found this rather annoying also.
