So... I played through once as femshep and I was very pleased with the amount of very attractive females I had the opportunity of having some lez sex with. But now that I'm playing through as manshep, it has me thinking.... and granted I haven't actually tried flirting with Jason, so maybe I'm just talking out of my ass... but isn't Bioware kinda shafting the gay male audience?

I mean... I'm not gay, and I realize that I'm in the majority of the audience that Bioware is trying to reach with this game.... but what does it say about our society when a game comes out with 4 possible lesbian sex scenarios (For femshep: Miranda, Kelly, Tali, Jack... I don't think Samara's doable), and 6 possible straight sex scenarios (The former with manshep and Garrus and Jason for femshep).... but no gay sex? not even an option? I mean... it's just copy and paste work for the cutscene at that point..... Granted, maybe those scenes do exist and I'm just ranting for no reason... I just thought that society was a little more open about homosexuality that's all

Like I said, it's not cuz I'm gay.... actually.... it's more because I would LOVE to hear more BS from the Christian right about how Mass Effect is poisoning our youth.... just gets the game more press :-)

So yeah, any gay players get a gay sex scene? Any other thoughts on this?

So, the only reason you want this is to provoke people? To be a prat? GTFO the forums for being a complete and utter tool.

Not quite sure you got what I was going for there... the gay community should be represented regardless... but yeah, it would also please me to see the homophobic christian community get their panties in a bunch

It's a game about saving the universe, not having kinky sex. It's not a necessity, they are shafting no one.

my point is that they seem to cater to the straight male population very thoroughly.... isn't then their exclusion of a gay sex scene the very definition of shafting?

If they cater to straight male, where is the F/F romance?

Who is Jason? Also, you can't romance Jack, Miranda, or Tali as a female. Only Kelly.

well, I haven't played through every single possibility.... I assumed that there'd be something due to the liara li in the first one..... I've read of a tali/femshep romance and I know I was flirting with Kelly my first time through but maybe there isn't, I dunno

And ummm... the fact that you think that in catering to the straight male there MUST be a f/f romance kinda proves my overall point, regardless of the presence of such a romance in the game

it isn't Jason? the black cerberus guy... whatever his name is.... and like I said, I haven't played through attempting every possibility... due to the newness of the game the argument was largely rhetorical... maybe I'll start this thread up again once I know what the hell I'm talking about haha

It was called humor.

Straight males are obsessed with F/F relations. Haven't you heard? I read it on the interwebs!

It's also classifiable as sarcasm. Forums have symbols like  and often eye rolling characters to assist in conveying it.

It's not out of any altruistic wish for homosexual representation. You said it right there. I have the proof. You just want to be a total prat and use it antagonize a certain demographic.

Like you said, it's not 'cause you're gay. It's 'cause you wanna ****** people off. So it's like I said, GTFO the forums for being a complete and utter tool.

if I wanted to be altruistic about the treatment of the gay community, a gaming forum certainly wouldn't be the first place I would go... exhibit a: http://ps3.ign.com/a.../1060960p1.html

secondly, why don't you stop being a douche and actually comment on the actual point I was making rather than trying to assume what my motives are.... because actually buddy... it's BOTH of those things, but as I said it would bring me MORE pleasure to see a bunch of homophobic pricks going crazy because HEAVEN FORBID homosexuality permeate our mainstream culture

Arguing is pretty pointless on the interwebs gaiz.

But I agree. There's tons of F/F, but no M/M that I'm aware of. There are 2 F/F options in ME2 (Morinth, Kelly) and 1 in ME1 (Liara), and 0 M/M.

I'm not being a douche. You just said, your motivation, the thing that would give you the most pleasure, is to antagonize people. That is wrong. It is petty. It is spiteful.

If anything, you're no better than they are.

Nothing happened. It wasn't a sex romance, it was a normal romance. You take someone out to dinner, you don't **** them on the first night. The only reason Shepard always gets laid before the final mission is because they think they will die. Kelly is kelnapped before you can get desperate nookie.

The only F/F relationship in ME2 is Morinth, so yeah, LGBT's get an alien succubus.

Honestly the reason Shepard doesn't have a gay relationship is because nobody around him is gay. I mean we all know Shepard is persuasive but I don't think he is going to bend anyone on his Squad. Unless he rapes Jacob in the shower or something... 100,000 RENEGADE POINTS
