How do you do it? Everyone keeps talking about a import utility program, but I can't find it. Where is it?

On the Game Launcher select Configure. Once the Configuration Utility pops up, select Save Games, and then Copy Mass Effect 1 Save Games to select the directory where your ME1 saves are.
