I bought DAO about a week ago, and have been playing it offline. Today i made a Bioware account and redeem my codes of Shale and Blood Dragon armour, they succesfully went through.
Now the problem is, when I go load up into the game and click Login it says "you are currently not connected to the internet" and when i type in my e-mail and password i can't click "Login".
I have made my firewall zonealarm allow access to DAO and to the server, but it's not working. I have also tried running services.msc and starting Dragon Age Origins-Content Updater, but it gives me Error 1053 "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion".
I've read a little on port forwarding... but i don't know how exactly to do it. I use a belkin router. I connect fine to my other online games, can any one help me please
