A couple of times I ended up in these areas that i couldn't move out of. Such as ... ending up on a wall or vehicle and then i cant move 0fff the hood and have been forced to load a previous save.

Yeah, I got the same issue, sometimes I can get free, but usually I have to reload. Happened to me around 10 times now.

Definetly needs to be addressed in future patches.. It's a "throw the mouse across room" kind a glitch.

My character is also  getting  also getting stuck in the rafters and I have not been able to figure out how to get out it so all I can do is start from previous save. It happened several times in the slum district on Omega.

Also, I noticed the game started crashing after that now and then while in combat without any error message except ME2 has stopped working....

This happens to me as well. In just about every map. I would find myself stuck on a wall or floating, unable to move unless reloading the save... Usually happens if running close to or against a wall... sometimes when getting in cover of fire.

Returning to the Normandy crash site is the first time it happens to me. I was placing the monument, took a step back and found myself floating over the abyss... Unable to get back on solid ground. Hope this gets patched.

Its interesting that you guys are running Nvidia cards. Is everyone running Nvidia cards and experiencing this glitch? I would try to update the video card drivers first. Not to start a war between the Nvidia/ATi camps but I haven't noticed this issue with my ATI. I have a shadow issues where everything is darker than it should be but thats another story

It's not just PC based so I don't think it has much to do with differences in hardware. I'm running it on my xbox, and I'm getting the same issue. I've had it happen to me twice and I'm not even jumping onto things. I've gotten close to objects a couple times and just randomly freeze in position. I can move my body around but can't leave the position and I can't fire a weapon.

I'm having the same problem! My character gets trapped in a wall or prop and can't get out no matter what i try. Please Fix the clipping issues!

Yes the clipping problems is bad. I had a npc shoot me with a rocket that knocked me off the world. I know what you mean. You get stuck on floor or a wall you took cover behind. The very worst is the flying bugs. I seen graphical issuesse where parts of your body or your teams body does not load. Then sometimes the game acts like it hit a lag spike and everything warps around the room. Very bad in combat when enemys warp behind you our your allies warps way in front of you and get killed. :(

Im running an ATI card and here are my specs:



i7 920@4ghz

PC1600 DDR3 6Gb

Gigabyte UD3R rev 1.6

HD5850 Radeon Cats. 10.1

etc....

Windows 7 Utimate 64bit





Game runs flawlessly without any stutters or graphical problems with everything maxed out.. 8xAA and 16x Aniso,





In addition to the getting trapped prob. It crashed for the first time last night, but then again i just updated mycatalyst drivers to 10.1 so that could have been it.

It not a graphic card problem. It a bloody texture problem just cause you have not run into yet. Does not mean it there. The glich is in the code of the envirement. Trust me I program for a living. I know a code problem when I see it. It might be just random planets and walls/barrers. Still the bug is in the code.

Textures are just the images on the 3d objects/geometrics and such. Then again you said you knew how to program, nothing about 3d design, texturing, and such. As for "knowing a code problem when i see it" good luck getting the source code for the game. You may want to rephrase that. Just letting you know... I agree its not a graphics card issue however. Its clearly a wall / boundary issue like stated though.. I'm guessing the problem came with the ability to hop walls allowing the character some free axis space or simply just some bad clipping.

I got the entirely same problem as you. It happens mostly when I am hiding behind some obstacle, and then trying to cancel taking cover my char sometimes jumps on the way too high obstacles ( like walls ) and get's under the textures. THe only way of getting out is loading a quicksave.

It seem's to happen i various location, so i think it needs to be repaired at the level of the game code of character - obstacle.



Until the patch repairing it comes out, i suggest using autosave very often, makes no difference in a gameplay, and mostly does not decrease the performance when saving.

I'm getting this too. Randomly get launched into the ceiling, or hopped up onto a table I can't get off of.

Yeah it seems to happen to me when Shepard turns a corner or goes near some sort of elevation change while cornering. I've noticed it happens turning near the conference room table and going down the stairs to Jack in engineering. It also happened during the N7 mission with the ship falling off the cliff- that time I was going down a ramp and ended up being catapulted and floating 50 feet up in the sky! Just be sure to save as much as possible!

Not only do I also have the random elevation change but i cannot get past the eighth release valve in the collector base. I have restarted it about five times now and it continues to crash at the same time during the cut scene (its right after shepard shoots his gun). hopefully I don't have to restart!!
