Ok since I can't find the funniest moments or comments post due to our search bar missing I decided to put this here... I've always wondered what my dog (I play female human noble) thought about my romancing Alistair... Now consider Dog n I have grown up together I would assume, he's my best friend n I'm his... Ok so I've always wondered what Dogs reaction/idea was about someone new in my life would be... I just found out, in it is funnier then heck, I'm still laughin.  Oh n it's just Alistair n Dog n me in the party.

Alistair: Your desire is my command.
PC: (Kiss him.)
Alistair: Oh. But what about our audience?  You don't think...?
Dog: (Jealous Barking!)
Alistair: Oh, never mind. One public display of affection, coming up.

I about died seeing this, I'm not sure if I should say poor Dog now has to share my pc with Alistair or poor Alistair has to share pc with dog... I really wish we'd of been able to have more of an interaction with our Dogs n who we've chosen to have a relationship with... That would be soooo cute... If you don't have my Dog's approval then I can't be with you or something like that lol

Considering how Alistair treats your dog I'm surprised you got together with him in the first place. Morrigan on the other hand claims not to like Dog but her actions say otherwise.

I would have let Wynne do the spell to the dog. Nothings scarier than seeing a flying purple people eater.. With antlers.

Kissing in front of everyone gets you some hilarious responses. The (kiss her) option is missing from Leliana however, I'd like to see that :P

If you're on a PC, you can use the dialog tweaks mod to add the kiss option to Leliana and Zevran. Mods are the reason I play on a pc rather than xbox. I agree that that should have been included.

Yes thank you, I've found it. It works. I can't believe this was NOT in the vanilla game. The responses are in the game but you only get to see them with the mod.

(Kiss Leliana)
Leliana: Hmm..
Morrigan: I do not share.
Leliana: Or maybe not.
(Leliana backs away)

Morrigan dissaproves - 3

Hahahaha!

Still my favorite is the one with Morrigan and Alistair(this one is in vanilla)

(Kiss Her)
Morrigan: And you wish to do this in front of an audience do you?
Alistair: Super. Excuse me while I begin projectile vomiting.
Morrigan: What is that Alistair? We were not listening.

:D

How does he treat the dog? I've always gotten the impression that he's quite fond of the Mabari.

Well, first there is 'complete moron' remark you get in the party banter. Then there are the interactions you get when you 'talk' to Dog in camp. First Alistair tries to steal his food and gets bitten. But worst of all he spins Dog this story about Mabari being fed parts of the enemy warriors and how he may already have eaten a 'person' without knowing it. This makes the poor animal vomit and cringe away until you come and reassure him. Pure animal cruelty on Al's part.

I found all of that pretty playful actually...sort of like teasing your kid brother.

Alistair has been shut off from the rest of the world, maybe he's not sure or doesn't have a clue about why mabari's are so well respected, doesn't know anything about them except for what he's heard n we all know that stories can be fabricated lol... I think Alistair is just trying to feel dog out, get to know him... As Alistair says Dog gaurds 1 of the most important people in Ferelden

My husband called (and still does) my dog a moron all the time. Doesn't mean he doesn't love her or treat her decent.

Alistair wasn't trying to steal the dog's food, he just got near it. Many dog breeds, especially guard type breeds, have food aggression issues. Frankly, he's lucky to still have an arm! And yes, the whole feeding humans part is just playful teasing.

Well he needs to be a bit more careful in choosing the targets of his playfulness. There is a codex entry that quotes an Orlesian ambassador on the Fereldens "Insult their dogs and you start a war." We already have two wars we don't need Alistair starting a third.

I like Zevran's reaction the best, actually. Everybody else has a snarky comment or otherwise disapproves, he's just like "Hey, I grew up in a ****house. I think nothing of it." B)

I call my own dog a moron all the time. Mostly, because he is. But I still <3 him lots.

EDIT: Okay, I rarely use the actual word "moron." Common expressions include "dummy" and "fuzzbrain" and the like, however. :P
